Surinder Singh route - any experiences?

 Hi everyone,
 
 For other Brits who are on this board, does anyone have any experiences of using the Surinder Singh route for your FSU (or any non-EU) lady? 
 
 For those who don't know it's a legal loophole to bring in a non-EU spouse getting around requiring a British fiancée visa.
