Can anyone help a Russian lad?

My friend Lena's son is now living in Jersey City for the summer until Sept 29th (He returns to Russia). He is looking for a summer job. He told me, "I have a visa J1 which allows me to work. I have DS 2019 form which does the same. I received social security number."

I was wondering of any of our group might live nearby and may be able to help.
