Then post your own.. Simple?

and further clutter up the board with snippets?.. no thanks

A good test of the value of the information you are posting would be to make your own blog (it's free and easy) to really see if your copy/paste replications will draw an audience.  Another poster here has done so, but qualitatively speaking I imagine the results of your efforts would remain in the shadows.

Seems like same ole same ole to me.

Back deals and oligarchs still reign supreme.

good read and while the author makes many valid points which are on balance probably correct,

there is also the other side of the coin ,it is highly possible the oligarches mentioned in his article have done adeal and agreed to keep yatsenyuk in power for now simply to prevent further chaos within the gov etc at this point in time

lets look at the situation currently

1 the east is under threat again with increased russian backed aggression
2 yatsenyuk is not great , but he does provide stability now
3 who would replace him at present ??  that is willing to take on the poison chalice of PM ?
4 jaresko does not seem to want that role , the georgian new mayor of odessa, ?? his track record is not too flash either when you look at it

5 why would the oligarches want to see the possibility of others who may be far worse step into the power vacum created by the pm ouster ??
6  the oligarches mentioned have no friends with the russian gov or its political block , so would they see the removal of yatsenyuk as a threat ?? with  the  possibility of  ex party of regions supported backers with russian help getting a stronger hold in the rada ?? maybe putting ''their ''pm in ??

all very real possibilitys imo if the gov fails and chaos ensues in the near future

to me this looks more like a near death experience for yats and pressure being applied to get reform moving again , without total chaos or collapse of the gov , enough of a warning to stick with the fragile stability that exists even though it is not ideal for any one groups agenda

Ukraine should

a) Throw all the oligarchs in Jail. and take back the wealth of ukraine.
b) Use the wealth to pay for social services and infrastructure.

c) ask the UN to set up a special panel to help rebuild the political system and clean out corruption.
With help from countries around the world..

SX, I believe the east is under threat again BECAUSE of one oligarch battling mini oligarchs.

Let's face it. Ukraine has terminal cancer. Nothing short of a complete extirpation of the malignant tumors will cure the patient.

I tend to follow Southern's thinking. The faction of Poroshenko walked out before taking part of any no-confidence vote in the Rada. Had they stayed and voted, they'd be looking for a new PM. I believe it was a move to pressure for reforms to get back on track.
