Will Russia eventually follow Ukraine down the road to democracy?

Activists in Russia and leaders in Ukraine should develop the strategy of leadership from a place called Kyiv, a place of Volodymyr, the grand Prince. The cradle of Russian and Ukrainian civilization has seen the light. It is the light of democracy. Only democracy can effectively deal with post-Soviet corruption. When will Russia see the error of her ways? Egomaniacal czars and dictators have failed to confront the ingrained corruption of the post Soviet era. The Russian people need to raise their political standards to the level of the current Ukrainian state, a state besieged by internal war, and twisted by corruption while maintaining an almost impossible goal of democracy and compassion for the common citizen.
