Form I-131 (Advanced Parole)
« on: September 24, 2015, 07:20:37 PM »
According to the instructions, one may not file I-131 (advanced parole) simply to visit your family (vacation) unless they are dying (humanitarian need). If you want to file the I-131, you must provide evidence that the advanced parole is necessary (doctor's note).

Has anyone successfully filed I-131 simply for vacation purposes (I'd like Olga to visit her family sometime soon)?

That info is not currently correct.
Those were the old rules some time back, but they have been changed.
But what you want to do is file I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765 all together.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

I believe we filed it with the work authorization at the same time. It was just so the wife could return home to see family, not any emergency reasons.
