Sorry the poor french I'm does not understand this side of the american culture. Perhaps if sex was less taboo on this side of the ocean, men will not be like child in front of a toy store when just looking at a nice pair of legs....

Having been to Kiev many times, and enjoying the city, it was nice to see some photos from Kreshatik. It brought back many wonderful memories.

While I won't go into the salacious aspects of the photos, I think Jack's photos point out some cultural aspects people should know and understand.

I do not think all the women in the photo were particularly attractive.

I think women are women everywhere (except Italy

). There is no FSU species of female.

The difference with women from the FSU is that they strive to make the most of what they have. While most would not make the People 100 list, they still draw your eye because they have taken pains to ensure their appearance is pleasant and attractive.

You will not find baggy sweats on Kreshatik. Women will be wearing makeup, their hair will be right, their clothes meant to attact. It is different, and it is a wonderful difference.

I do not see any difference between sitting in the comfort of my office in the USA and viewing the sights, and sitting in a sidewalk cafe in the FSU and seeing the same thing.

I don't actually look at the photos, but stay focused on "reading" their clothes (for example, Miss 6572).

Those come from walking up hills and to the metro all of her life....No bodyfat whatsoever...Nothing in the world like walking on Khreshatic in the summer. Now if you want to really take it to the next level then hit the Crimea...
