Amalgamator, Agencies and Websites
« on: December 13, 2015, 11:07:26 AM »
I have read, recently on here, of comparing various PPC and PPL sites.  I think it is important to discriminate between an Almagamator and Agency and a Website.  Each of these have a particular role to play in the Overseas Dating Industry.  Perhaps the best place to start is the Agency:

An agency is a locally owned business in the host country.  The purpose of the agency is to accumulate profiles.  It is very important that the reader understands the primary focus of the business model.  By accumulating profiles, the agency can then parlay those profiles into money.    Agencies do this in a number of ways.  The more honest ones display the profiles on local websites and serve as a go between for the men and their prospective women.  The agency will provide translation services and, in most cases, a translator to smooth over the initial meetings between the couple.

Historically, there are some agencies that have very high ratings with the membership of this forum.   One such agency was in Kherson and another in Mykolaiv.

But there is a seedier side to the agencies.  Many of the agencies are owned by the Ukrainian mafia and are there to trick the men into spending as much money as possible with little chance of success.  The model begins with what is done with the profiles.  They are displayed on amalgamator websites.   Typically these websites are pay-per-letter or pay-per-chat sites.  The men are charged by letter or time online.  Therefore the more letters or the more time spent online, the more money the agency makes.

The agencies offer theses services by having paid chat people and letter writers.  Very few women operate their own profiles.  For the women that are actually interested in finding a man, the agencies tell the women that they are vetting the men and operating the profile without the presence of the lady to increase her exposure.

The paid translation services in such an agency are set up to maximize the profit. The translator directs the date to premium locations that will issue kickbacks to the agency.  The translator is also there to insure that the man gets just enough satisfaction from the date to seek another, but not enough to meet the lady separately.  Many of the ladies in such agencies are there as employees.   They see it as their job to encourage the dreams of the men contacting them.  On chat or letter writing, they will not allow personal contact.  There are never Skype addresses exchanged.   And the emails exchanged are often set up just for the purpose of seducing the man into spending more money.

An agency gal will maintain as many chat and letter relationships as is possible.  In the agency, at a computer terminal, you will find agency employees running four or five profiles at the same time.  Last year, there was a  website that was revealed in Odessa that was a forum solely for agencies to discuss ways to maximize profits.

Now it is important to understand that the Amalamators pay the agencies to create traffic through their websites. . I believe AnastasiaDate claimed, at one point, to have 1200 agencies submitting profiles.   It is not in the best financial interest to monitor the agencies too closely.  If an agency is making money for the amalgamator, then any discipline would be adverse to profit.

I would be interested to hear from various members about their experiences with agencies as opposed to online amalgamators.  I know some of members have dated and married agency employees.  It would be interesting to get more detail.

The entire industry works very similarly to the internet marketing industry. The only difference I see is that the agencies provide the product, or women's profiles, and the traffic and marketing is generated by the aggregator. The aggregator will always have a website, the agencies do not necessarily need to have one. They only recruit the women and provide profiles and services to the men and aggregator sites.

The agency my wife worked for was started by someone involved in organized crime in Odessa. The idea came about one day after numerous drinks and he set out by initially posting his wife's profile. She recruited a few of her girlfriends and they ramped up from there. Women were hired from word of mouth, advertisements for jobs, girlfriends from school, acquaintances from the nightclub circuit and he grew his business into a five figure per month agency. Not a bad little living for someone in Ukraine.

Last I heard he had 4-5 agencies running and even though he has been caught for fraud multiple times and affiliate income withheld, is still allowed to do business with the aggregator. Hard to shut down your big earners...

These Ukrainian mafia get money from clients who are men.  Where did these men find those agencies?  Most obvious from the search engines.  Search engines such as Google, Yahoo are probably not aware of these crime.  The law should be changes.  One day, a client will sue Google, Yahoo for placing them on advert.    There is always first time.

Search Engines are not liable in my opinion. The PPC banners, adwords accounts, spam with affiliate id's in their links, SEO ranking, etc all come back to the aggregators and those who receive an affiliate commission promoting their services. They are fully aware of the deceit and are the ones liable.
