Greetings and salutations to everyone! This is all completely new to me, and am looking to possibly make some friends and learn more about myself and new cultures along the way.  I'm from the US, of Irish descent, never been married, engaged to be so two times.  I love to read, reassert hinge items from a book I'm into right now is what led me to this site, and curiosity got the best of me and so I registered.  I hope I can be both helpful to discussions, and be informed along the way, and with a bit of the old Irish luck, perhaps spark a relationship or two on here. Thank you all and hope to speak to some of you soon.

Welcome and good luck on your journey. Not sure what your end goal is but enjoy yourself. I started just out of curiosity and then fell in love and in three weeks I am off to Russia to get married. She is a beautiful, intelligent woman who I am thrilled to have met but the journey is not easy.

You wrote an interesting introduction.  Many of us have formed fulfilling relationships with RW.   Both the process and the women themselves can be difficult.  That is part of the "fun" if one has an adventurous spirit and is indeed interested in embracing new cultures.
