Do folks say you remind them of some-one well known
« on: January 29, 2016, 08:50:22 PM »
It started in 2007 - when my Russian biz partner's Missus decided I looked like Putin's stand-in - Dmitry Medvedev - over dinner.

I wasn't offended - as I think he was a better President - but he is, shorter fatter [and walks funny ] than me ...and younger.

Now, I have gained 5 kg . ... It's started - again ..

Last night - when shopping - I posed for a Russian guy who wanted to show his mates he had 'met Medvedev'

OK, I can sometimes see a sl. resemblance  - perhaps I'm being groomed as a 'stand-in'  when Putin needs to re-start the clock, again  :chuckle:

So, who might you get mistaken for ?
Please excuse the Curmudgeon in my posts ..he will be cured by being reunited with his loved one ;)

This reminds me of a thread on the old forum RWG I participated on where members try to match which famous people they look like. One poster said I looked like Japanese actor Ken Watanabe. My ex fiancée from Uzbekistan was a unanimous look alike with Cameron Diaz and my current Ukrainian wife was approached by a couple of people and said she looked like Taylor Swift.

I've posted pics of my wife but here's pics of ex fiancée. She's got that Cameron Diaz smile and cheerful personality.

Kevin Spacey. I'm told that it's not just my looks but also my mannerisms. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but at 41 y/o, it is what it is.  :cheesy:

The best part was when Woody took his hand off the hat.

According to pictriev.com I look like old Leo Caprio or Duncan Sheik. Dunno where they came up with that one...

The wife looks like Adriana Karembeu. That match is pretty close.

I just tried that face comparison website.

Interesting news was it estimated my age at 20 years younger than actual.

So take that all you false claimers!

I was looking for the film clip of Woody's woody holding the hat, but apparently it isn't available.

Maybe others can find and post it.

Interesting . . . in my search it mentioned that in one of the 'takes' Woody did completely remove the hat . . . to the 'somewhat' shock of the other actors and crew.

Also, we just recently bought and watched Season One of 'True Detective.'  Woody gave a great performance . . . but  I didn't understand why so many young hot chicks had the hots for him in the episodes.  Maybe because he was one of the producers?

The one gal had a fantastic rack (completely nude). . . even as I am not a big rack guy.

I ran two pictures of Ochka through the program.

One indicated the  top match was with the below picture of Rebecca De Mornay.

The second indicated top match was Hungarian gal Andrea Osvart.

I can see resemblance of both.

Kind of a fun thing to mess around with.

I learned I got 5% resemblance to Don King. He could be my brother from another mother.

So Medvedev and Putin are members of RWD.  That would be msmobyone and The Natural.

I wish my golf swing  was a 10% resemblance of Rory McIlroy's.
