Anyone know of any legit Marriage Agencies in Nikolaev/Odessa

Hi all, now I know there are a lot of dodgy agencies around Odessa/Nikolaev but I was wondering if anyone knows of any legit ones. Ones where you can pay a fee to meet real women when you are there, if they are interested in you, no rip off scams on restaurants/taxi's, ppl, etc. So I guess a bit like Kiev connections but in this region instead.

You are probably safer avoiding agencies. Alex's wife used to work for one and he can fill you in on their shenanigans. I would also recommend going without having anyone to visit specifically. Both cities are fun to visit and would make a good trip. Maybe you can meet someone organically. You are in the UK so are 8+ hours closer than us Yanks. Use that to your advantage and visit as often as you can.

Thanks HDL much appreciate the advice its reassuring to know that both cities are fun to visit without visiting anyone specifically. I've got someone I am going to see at the moment but I'm not sure whether I can count on her. So far no back-ups so I would prefer to have an odd few girls I'm communicating to to call upon just in case. I'll try fdating as you suggest - already doing Mamba and Cupid. Been to Kiev a few months back and although good time with a girl (but a no-go) I don't think I would have fancied doing Kiev by myself that much - its a big city and not a great place to pick up on the fly I think, casual places like shopping places probably best there I think. Could see hardly any bars in Kiev city centre mainly restaurants so would have felt a bit strange in a restaurant by myself, lol.

Kiev also tended to be very opera, theatre, orchestra, type of place which again aren't great if single - odd museum & gallery which might not be too bad or necessarily that great. So I guess at least Nikolaev & Odessa have the beach. Not sure what my chances may be of picking up on the fly - just a case of a girl giving me the eye/chemistry I guess but that can be random so would have to see how it goes if it came down to it and not count on it. Would probably be a good scouting mission though and is reassuring to hear they are nice places to visit, many thanks.

I would classify Odessa and Nikolaev as more "party" cities than Kyiv. I have never visited Odessa in the summer months, but I hear there are plenty of clubs at the beach. Certainly the bars/restaurants in the center of Odessa are hopping most nights. Nikolaev has a very nice pedestrian walkway with dining "Al Fresco". There is a wonderful maritime museum in Nikolaev as well. If you are comfortable speaking to strangers you should have fun. Many women will hear you speaking English and want to "practice" their English. So, just go and have fun. Once you are in country you can contact a woman on Mamba and since you are there, she may be more motivated.

Odessa is an amazing with loads of beautiful women. I love it and we have considered living there part time even. As far as "legit" agencies in the city, there probably are not any. Not that I have ever heard of at least. Many are run by organized crime or ex chat girls that branched off on their own after not getting their fair cut of the commission.


I would approach it differently if I were to look there again. Maybe have a wingman (preferably a woman) or even go live there for a short period of time and try to meet interesting people. Couchsurfing? A workation or even help a charity in some capacity maybe? Guest speaker at English school? A guy from the US did that for my wife's mothers English school and several teachers later commented he seemed interesting...


Or just go and visit the cafe's and lounges like HDL says. An issue is that the women there are very saavy and a bit suspicious of foreigners. The good women at least. Men have been looking for wives and playthings in Odessa for centuries.


Or hire a terp in city to help promote you and screen women before you arrive like that high end service owned by that guy Ed?

Funny how many women say they want this, i.e supposed ideal, yet I fit most of this description (ok, perhaps not funny so much or tan) yet have always had finding difficulty in finding a woman here in the UK. I'm not any of the stuff women don't like about guys, I'm not bald, no receding hair/pattern baldness, not ginger, not short (not lanky either) not fat (ok perhaps not quite 6 pack just average build). So good head of hair, not graying yet, not overly geeky looking, not pox marked, decent body shape, reasonably attractive I would say and reasonably dressed. I am ok with conversation though not particularly skilled socially and that is my only negative I think but seemingly one that counts a lot with UK women. I wouldn't of course go with a porker though big turn off for me.

Remember, we are discussing Odesa here.

The chicks western guys meet on the beach during the daytime are very interested in the guys for one main reason . . .

They want someone to pay the cover charge to get into the nightclubs come night time and to pay for the first couple of drinks.  After that . . . they mostly lose interest in the man.

Note:  I have never met chicks on the beach in Odesa nor have I been to any nightclubs in Ukraine.

But . . . I have been in Odesa on business and have had many chats with the younger studs.

It got to be comical.  We men would be sitting around in a nice restaurant in early evening rehashing the business events of the day.

A guy would get a text on his phone.  He would exclaim:  "Holy sheeeet . . . that hot chick I met (somewhere) is asking if I want to meet her tonight."

He would think somehow he turned into God's gift to women and would rush off to get ready to meet the gal.

Next day when asked how it went . . . he would recount the story above and state how she disappeared after a couple of hours.

But again, one of the studs would get a text message . . . and the repeat would happen.

And what makes you think KC is not a rip off??? At `$50 a pop for a date. How do you know that girl is only on date to please agency and has zero interest in you? Been there done that. One girl kept looking at her watch because she has to stay on date for 1 hour. Another girl told me girl has to accept date if she wants to be 'on top' of pecking order at agency. My brilliant personality wooed her or else it was 1 hour baaaaby!!!
I knew one of the translators in Orchid agency ( Odessa), where it was pay for meeting, $50 and all you get to do is look at this beautiful babe!!! Of course, no one is dumb enough to ask for one that DOESN'T speak English, which adds$15-$20 per hour for translator, or is there?
I have only been in an agency 2 times, I spoke of one already, second was in Odessa( don't remember the name) I was looking through pages of pic's in a book, when I asked about one....price was $75... I asked if that price includes dinner??? ))

I have my doubts about KC as well, the theory of visiting girls at an agency would work if it was all above board, but it always/often seems to fall into the trap of playing the guy along. For sure they may feel it work playing the guy along for $500 for 5 dates, without any further money being forthcoming, or play it straight as no further money is forthcoming more like the pay monthly sites - well straight(ish).

Completely Legit? no.
 It's my belief that to some degree there is something going on in all of them.

This does not mean you can't meet women through them.
My wife is from Nikolaev.

It's not the best option, but its one tool in the tool box.
