Politico has an article alleging that Ukrainian government people tried to help Clinton during the presidential election:

Kiev officials are scrambling to make amends with the president-elect after quietly working to boost Clinton.

The Ukrainian media my MIL reads was heavily pro Hillary and was heavily bashing Trump.
