Hi! LadyfromBelarus in Minsk? opinions?

Hi all, I just discovered this website and decided to join!  I have been traveling to the former soviet countries since 1999 in my quest to find a wife.

question/topic:
anyone have any experience with "LadyfromBelarus" agency in Minsk?

My background:
After being married for 12 years to a Russian girl 16 years younger than me, I ended up getting divorced earlier this year as she refused to have children, as well as us having other personality differences that worsened over time.  I am now in my early 50's with no children of my own, so I decided that it would be impossible to find an attractive american woman in her 30's willing to marry and have children with someone more than 13-14 years older than her. 

Since I already had experience with both Russia and Ukraine, and was not interested in going back to either of those 2 countries (too many scammers, etc), so I decided to travel to Belarus this summer.  I visited Harmony agency in Minsk and Gimeney agency in Grodno.  Both of these are genuine, solid, honest agencies, I met their owner and interpreter at both agencies.  Basically you tell them about yourself, send your pics, etc, and select a bunch of girls you would be interested in meeting.  They inform the girls that you are interested in them, and they will let you know which girls would like to meet with you.  It is really a numbers game as you have to select a large number of girls because not all of them will want to meet you, and then when you meet them in person, you may decide that the girl is not what you are looking for.  But there are many girls enrolled in both of these agencies so there are plenty to choose from.  Both of these agencies are a la carte, and you only pay for the services you need, which I liked.  I ended up meeting about a total of 20 girls between the 2 agencies.  I ended up having one girl meet me again in Israel, and one in Poland, in August and October, respectively, but neither worked out.  I think language might have been one of the problems with one of them at least, and the other one simply wanted a free trip to a nice country.  So, evidently I chose the wrong ones, but they appeared interested in me, were beautiful, and communicated with me the most (by email, Viber). 

Now I am considering visiting LadyfromBelarus agency, also in MInsk, if nothing else, simply to meet a different set of girls, as they have a large database (700+?).  This time I will make it a priority to choose someone who has at least some knowledge of the English language (or Spanish which I speak, but highly unlikely).

Anybody have any experience with this agency?  I would probably need to travel there in December, as I have some vacation days available during that time.

Any suggestions or ideas would be welcome.

I think Belarus is actually better, not perfect, of course.  I've been to all 3 countries.  I'm going back hopefully in December.  We'll see what happens. 😁

Welcome to the forum Marc. Not much difference between the women of those nations. If you find yourself running into all the wrong women, the issue may be on how you look at women. There is a clear difference on how sincere and insincere women behave. Once you figure it out, you quickly discard the bad girls and hopefully you know how to identify and pursue the good girls.


I don't know the reputations of agencies in Belarus but don't depend on an agency to do you right. Nobody will take care of you better than yourself.

One FSU country isn't better than another unless you find a likely candidate to
be Mrs Kali, then by all means go meet her. I do recommend asking the children
question very early after contacting a woman.

Marc, I tend to agree with Bill, its finding the right girl and she may be wherever, to me this seems a bit of a lottery, you could play the numbers game but luck can strike a guys that buys one ticket, i.e sees one girl or the guy that buys many tickets i.e sees many girls or being unlucky could strike either. Increasing my odds is the way I am going to go by seeing many girls but I may still be unlucky though of course hope I won't. Normally the more exposure you get even locally the more often a girl that seems interested turns up, not always, sometimes it can be real random when I've not been out for days so like I say luck.

I've been to Ukraine three times now, and Russia once. Never been to Belarus but from looking at their profiles I would say their is is slight aesthetic difference between all three. This is likely because of the vast regional distance, back in Roman times   different tribes would inhabit different regions and each tribe or set of tribes would have their own regional appearance characteristics, i.e Germanics, Thracians, Greeks, etc. Now apart from some migration between then and now many of these aesthetic characteristics remain. Georgians are known for being olive skinned yet it is relatively near Ukraine which is no so known for this, but quite well known for blondes. From what I see online of the women of Belarus they are more towards the darker hair and perhaps a more stouter build but not fat or necessarily short.

So I would say yes Ukraine in particular has a lot of scammers or perhaps women that will take a guy for a ride if she is not into him rather than send him on his way. If luck comes in its no doubt possible to still meet a girl there but the odds of getting a scammer/bad girl I think are higher than either Russia or Belarus. Shame as I find myself often liking the Ukrainian female Physic kind of pretty and dainty looking I think.

And to think the people here dissed it It goes to show that there is need for a more authoritative guide than the 10 commandments given out to newbies here as many of us here fall into the same traps when starting out. I remeber Guppy Captain picked up a couple of holiday whores from that agency Mordinson he used, one he took to Sophia/Bulgaria on holiday, etc.

I too have fallen foul off the holiday whore Marc, if they say they want to meet in another city in their country or abroad and its at your expense then its a big no, no and will lead nowhere good. If it came up with me again I would tell girl strictly no, just her hometown for visits for the first few times, and it would end up with me going for another girl I think as time spent better on finding a girl that is decent & into me I think.

Looked up the agency you mention, took bit of time to find the info but it looks like it is free to communicate and $50 to meet for an intro at their agency. So doesn't look too bad as agencies go but you never can tell till your there, be careful you don't pay over odds for taxi, restaurant, etc. Many off the photos look normal everyday photos which I much prefer over the agency professional snaps you get a far better picture of what the girl actually looks like. You could off course call up girls for free once out there but really need 2-3 weeks for this. The agency is likely to add up to a bit if you meet a lot off girls so maybe just do the odd one or two and mix with the free dating sites.
