Pre-Nups, Another consideration

We have had a lot of discussions in the past about pre-nups.   I could not help thinking about those as I read the front page of our local paper yesterday.

Most of the front page was devoted to the story of a gal who hired a dude she met in drug rehab and who became her boyfriend to kill her Urologist husband.    The plan was to kill him along the Ohio Turnpike and make it look like robbers which they did.  Fortunately it did not fly and they got caught.

According to the paper the reason she decided to kill him instead of divorcing him was that they had a pre-nup and if she divorced him she would get $ 250,000.  With him dead, she would get 2-3 million.   I am not suggesting that the average FSU woman is going to want you dead, but I think it might be a good idea to have your will match your pre-nup.

When I marry my lady, there will be a prenup.  She and I have already discussed this.
