What misinformation?  Do you deny the USSR was expansionist under a policy of "world revolution"?  Or that people were being sent to gulags for no reason?

After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

The UK and Moscow have a long history of mistrust ..The Crimea War was about preventing Russia expanding control and 'liberating' 'Constantinople ( Istanbul )

What misinformation?

In my cold war schoolboy textbooks the West won WW2 almost singlehandedly, the poor
Russians were only kept afloat because we loaned them trucks, planes, beans and bullets
and then we were never paid back because they were evil commies.

Well, you won't read that from me, however, they were evil commies.

??

I'm sorry, but your English is sometimes hard to follow

Are you saying that Grandpa said TU 144 was a FR/RU/UK collaboration ?     Hardly, unless he was spying for the Soviets

James,

You do know that is not true, yes?

TU144 and Concorde were developed separately at around the same time.  Concorde development started earlier, but TU144 was operational before Concorde by about 6 months.
