how difficult is to do a little "due diligence" before you enter into a negotiation
and have the other party
do something illegal
to prove their "bona fides"

But there are English words that do mean soliciting someone to engage
in prostitution. So when they translate they shouldn't use debauchery,
they should use soliciting or something similar.

Since Belgium uses has French as an official language I decided to look
up the etymology.

Middle French débaucher "entice from work or duty," from Old French desbaucher
"to lead astray," a word of uncertain origin.

I can see Boe's point now and it makes sense.

It's a little more subtle.
It could be push someone to abandon his job to the profit of an other (normal meaning, nothing morale).Or not morale : have profusion of sex, brothel, threesome, and whatever your imagination allows you.
Prostitution is indirectly a consequence of the "débauche". But "débauche" is not necessary linked to the prostitution, we use also the word "luxure" IMHO that's the closest.

What is implied in the site is the idea of transaction for sex, so prostitution first be paid, from a way or an other, but "débauche" is not linked with any money, you can organize a sex party with 20 people and yes that will be "débauche" but it has nothing to do with the law enforcment.
