It's a poll of only c.4400 people.

75% see no future.

Is it 'propaganda' ?

I found Russian people to be skeptical and pessimistic in general, so your poll is more important if comparing today's sentiment with a decade earlier.

My wife actually had a good life in Soviet Russia.  She was a professional athlete making 3x what graduate engineers made.  Her modeling career was even more successful.  She married successful men and never felt poverty.

In the adjustment period after our marriage, she struggled at times, and even  talked about returning to Russia.  I temper that with her reactive personality,  Today,  she loves Amerika, at least to the point of never returning to Russia.

Yet she recently told me two instances of a worsening life in Russia (how much is true, and how much is rumor):

           1.  The pandemic is more widespread than Russia reports.  She hears this from her many friends.  One of whom is the mother of a Russian hockey player for Tampa, and the mama reports her entire family has been infected.

           2.  Supposedly Putin is planning to reduce the already small pensions paid to the elderly and retired.  The concept is that working children can support the elderly.

 :offtopic:

She knows three Russian families who moved to New York City and then after a few years left NYC for Florida.
