Hi, my name is John. I am 58, divorced with 5 grown children.  I work as an ER RN and have a very comfortable life out in the country.
My path to RWD and RWG came after I received a response to my profile on a dating site from a young, beautiful Russian woman.  With a complete disregard for common sense I pursued an email romance and got scammed.  After the fact is when I discovered the Russian Women boards, and the wisdom and experience of the members.  I realized that pursuing a RW was not really practical pursuit for me, financially and time off constraints.  But I do enjoy the discussions and information that I find here.  I do not post often, actually this is my first post here as I am not in the pursuit and have not traveled abroad. 
I am currently learning Russian and plan to visit in the next year so there is valuable information here and I do enjoy the camaraderie of the members.

 Welcome to our little playground! If you have an interest don't discount the possibility of finding a FSUW. Many have done so on a limited budget. I was also brought into this world by a scammer. She didn't get anything from be besides a few phone calls but it did open up my eyes and thoughts to what has now become the best thing I have ever done.

 Lots of good info and people here to bounce your thoughts and ideas off of. I hope you will join in from time to time and I look forward to hearing from you again.
