Parties and Socials Are they worth it?
« on: August 27, 2006, 09:55:49 AM »
What is the difference between tour groups, Agencies and Parties.  Is a question I get often and wanted to address some of the common myths and things to look for and avoid.

For starters, tour groups often use local agents to provide the ladies,  Agency parties are run by a local agency.

Best advice for  party/social/tour.
1. Make sure you have access to the local agent who is providing the ladies and find out who they are and if they are legit.
2. Make sure the tour group or agency explains what you are getting for your money and what services are extra.
3. Make sure you have right to the ladies contact information when you meet. No extra fee's.
4. Get a gurantee on the number of ladies that will attend and have a way of contacting them before and after.

What to avoid.
1. Try to avoid open door tours and parties.  The working ladies and scammers love parties that they can walk into off the streets.
2. Avoid tours that don't allow you to contact their agents prior/after the party.
3. Avoid  scammers and professional daters. Tell your self and stick to a no-money gift policy.

I have been on just about every tour group  and offer agency parties myself. If you have a question about a group please ask.

thanks
Kevin

Gotta give you credit Kev... the photos from your socials include a lot of happy faces.  Whether people get engaged, married, blah-blah, it seems everyone has fun.

Those photos sell your idea very-very well.

We have our next boat party on Sept 29th and I'll update the site. It is a combo tour group party and agency party this time.  4 agencies working together for a single party. It will be interesting and fun.

Kev-

It's not a boat party though, I think it'd be a bit cold in Kherson for that at this point! ;)

Having been to one of Kevin's socials in the past (Sept. 2005), I can say that it was the most honest one I've attended, not that such a statement is saying a lot.  Most socials are not exactly what I would call an "honest environment."  The players and "pros" (both types) were obvious at Kevin's and now that I think about it, they were pretty obvious at the others too, just have to be willing to pull the trigger and walk away.  'Still not a fan personally of socials in terms of finding my future partner, but they're an interesting experience.

Thanks!

Jerry

No woman is allowed to attend our parties unless she is in our progrm & has been intereiwed by Marina or me, no exceptions. We keep the riff raff out.
We are organizing a Shashlik party at the lake not far from Tver, next summer. Dates to be announced. We supply all transportation for the men & ladies.

Richard,

This may be a silly idea but have you ever thought of having some of the married couples who may be in the area attend one of these parties? Might make it a bit more real for some of the attendees to see the "fruits of their efforts" so to speak.

Ok Kev-

I retract my earlier statement about your social not being a boat party.  It appears you have changed it.  Still seems a little cold for a boat party, but hey, what do I know? ;)

Thanks,

Jerry
