There are usually a few on dating sites that live in the US. They are likely fairly new to the US and may have been in a relationship where it didn't work out or the man died. A few years ago, a friend of mine some of you may remember, Ray Anderson, died but his wife stayed and eventually remarried. But I suspect many of them just keep the profile up to keep their options open while they date locally.
