Blah, Blah, Blah Part XXXIX

No surprise at all.

http://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/01/21/fact-check-covid-19-vaccine-nearly-20-years-making/3873247001/

This was discussed in prior forum threads a while back.

Oppsss, my bad. There goes Google at play again.

messenger RNA science had in fact been around for decades. You'll have to Google a bit more beyond a USAtoday article that's Google algorithmically generated. I'm certain you won't have problem linking plenty more of those. Maybe not as many as RussiaGate links.

This virus was coined 'novel' after all. Antigen and all that good stuff.

I won't help you there.  :P

I avoided posting links to overly technical, source information to make it more easy for you and others to read and comprehend.

I have posted before regarding this as well.  You'll have to use the search feature to find it.  There is nothing wrong with google or any other search engine folks use if one is discerning and go beyond the first link along with checking references and source information.

They used to call it novel, but it's not new anymore so most have dropped using the term.  Nowadays it's referred to as COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2  Everything is novel, until it isn't.

Funny stuff, BC. I witnessed that about you during RussiaGate and the Kavanaugh confirmation. You really showed some good ol' fashioned 'discernment'.

Here in LA, you cannot enter any indoor establishment like a restaurant without a mask. They will literally deny you entry, lose business, and if you do not comply they have 3 starved pit bulls waiting in the wings held by a person armed with a brush and a bucket of au jus ready to brush you with it, then releases those rabid canines on you.

But hey, if sheepled and comply, you can enter, flashing your fake vaccination card and your neighbors ID, sit down and you can then take your mask off. It’s as if you are much less dangerous now that you are seated, and the virus won’t load and stop being contagious. Snap that little government mandated menu-free QR Code to keep you and their employees from passing around the virus with your f@cking hands.

Two damned years of SARS-CoV-2, our government had turned this period to a pandemic of lunacy.

A conversation by 3 doctors, vaccinated if I may add, shared a few looney exchanges to what happens when you unleash politics to lead the charge of public safety.

GQ,

Finally got a bit of time to address your post indicating I ran out of google words and thus incapable of reply.

In reply to Trench, you wrote:

I took the context of this statement as being a critique of HK’s response and low numbers of deaths, replying with:

Regardless of the context, on the subject of HK, you replied:

Now whether or not I got the context of your original remark correct, or not, no response on my part is needed as we agree as to HK’s experience and crisis response leading to low numbers of deaths.

Regarding nasal sprays, I responded:

You reply in agreement:

Again, how can you state I am lacking in response for something we agree on?

After a lengthy political harangue, you did at least attempt to answer one question I posed:

You reply with:

The only way I can interpret your re-phrased proposition in reply to a direct question is “No” on the first count, and and “Doesn’t matter” as to the second, and that your solution is simply to do nothing.  A treatment protocol exists and is frequently updated as new facts arise.  http://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/about-the-guidelines/whats-new/

Why would this be deserving of a reply on my part?

Other than subsequent mentions of google in a feeble attempt to shoot the messenger, you did not address the following questions:

So you see, your accusations that somehow I ran out of google power or whatever is simply false, and instead, responses to my direct questions lack, despite your assertions to the contrary.

Man, that drips with a whole lot of nothing, BC.

You are all now beginning to 'hear' the lack of a treatment protocol in the US as all roads only lead you to 'vaccination'. Of course, as long as you get boosted and boosted and boosted...the bright side is, well, Moderna's shares went up...

In LA, a lot of collegiate and professional game and events are getting cancelled and/or postponed because, well the vaccinated/boosted athletes are testing positive for COVID.

And this administration was supposed to be better? LMAO!

I agree with much said in the video.  Self tests in the US are expensive and not generally available as they are in most of Europe. Fortunately during my last trip I brought a few with me.  Had I known, I would have brought more of them for family and friends.

It was pretty easy and 'free' for me to get officially tested at Walgreens right before my trip back.  Results within a few hours.

Self-tests are a great tool. If they err, they usually give a false positive which can be more easily followed up with a more accurate test.  Great for when family gets together during holidays etc.  I can imagine much shorter lines than shown in the video if they were readily available.

As to why they are so hard to get in the US?  I suspect other factors might be in play and not purely fault of the Administration as the video presenter indicates.  Take the 'free' Walgreen test I took.  Obviously, someone paid Walgreen for the test...  Did that someone pay more than what Walgreen would make selling cheap tests off the shelf?  Is it really FDA approval that is holding it up, or are economic factors in play?

FDA lists a number of lateral flow, visual tests with EUA's.  Only a few are marked OTC.  Why is that?  One might think FDA did not approve OTC but is that really the case?
http://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-emergency-use-authorizations-medical-devices/in-vitro-diagnostics-euas-antigen-diagnostic-tests-sars-cov-2

Take a popular test as an example:

Same test, different sale channels.  Telehealth and OTC

OTC is totally sold out 15 bucks for two tests? Around twice the cost in EU but not bad, if they were available...

But emed.com who uses the exact same test seems to have no problem sending you a test, albeit with possible FedEx delays...

Will emed also charge 15 bucks?  I doubt it. Try minimum order of 6 for 150 bucks plus shipping and tax, which is more than 50 bucks for two tests, likely 75 bucks, 5 times the OTC price.

So...  The FDA approved it, but de facto, it can only be purchased for at least double the OTC price.  What does that say?  Is that FDA or the Administrations fault?  Can the Administration mandate private companies to keep shelves stocked?

You might respond: "well only a few tests were approved for OTC..." fair question, but then one might want to ask if the manufacturer even applied for OTC, or if even FDA EUA approval is even required for OTC.. other 364 million dollar questions...

I hypothesize that test manufacturers double, triple or quadruple their profit by keeping shelf stocks low, and forcing folks to pay more via other prioritized sales channels.  Simple as that.

In other words, you're getting screwed, not by the Administration but by profiteers.

I'll stick to little over $3.10 each, packs of 20 delivered within 48 hours, shipping included, no tax. Or better yet, as I usually do, pick some up at a local pharmacy.

Is this a joke? The feds/FDA can pretty much do anything when necessary. Hell likely half the population got jabbed with experimental soup unapproved by the FDA, BC! They’re out there promoting they should go and get it! They took J&J off the list after people died, lol, but I guess that’s life.

As for cost, DC is out there juggling around trillions for payback programs and you’re telling me providing free, accessible tests is simply not plausible? Hell yeah this falls in your administration! You can’t blame Trump for this anymore, man.

Here’s Jen Psaki mocking the idea the administration mandating anything that will provide free and assessible testing.

Why the hell not, Jen Psaki? They do exactly that in other countries.

As stated in my post, I was able to get tested at Walgreen.  I suspect the someone who paid for it was the government.

The remainder of my post regarded OTC self-tests and I asked you if the US government can mandate they be stocked and sold at reasonable prices.  I don't know the answer to that question.  Do you?  Has Congress approved funding for such?  I don't know.

What I do know, I stated:  that I can buy them here easily at affordable prices and could not do so when I visited the US.

Citation of any of your post/s? LMAO! You go chase your own imaginary tail. I simply caught you in your own silliness. You've been vocal in your support of RussiaGate/Mueller Report, Avenatti/Swetnick, etc. as though they're factual, now you can't even admit your silly proclamation of 'facts only' BS...Now you seem to deny any/all of it. How funny!

Even Phil replied in one of his post how astonishing it is for you to be stating 'facts' at any time considering your positions. Pathetic.

I have no need to chase my tail GQ, you seem to have fantasized that as well.

But heck, I was curious...

So you see, absolutely nothing of the sort you mention.  Your accusation now stands fully debunked and awarded five RWD farts instead of fact ;)

Maybe this thread should be renamed as I suggested.

Oh well, have a Merry Christmas GQ!
