I will call Dan Rooney and Bill Cower and let them know.  I know they will be disappointed but life does have its disappointments.

Sorry I prefer hockey. Flying pucks, flying fists, and lots of thrown helmets.

Even the Yankees don't provide enough drama there!

P_A,
Not since Billy Martin left anyway...  ;D

Agree with you on the Hockey. All those years in Calgary truly turned me into a convert.

TG,
Bill seems to be doing well with his Acting career. He'll be okay.

It's ironic that Russia and Canada both love hockey so much! That's why it is logical that good Canadian hockey fans find their heart's desire in the beauty of Russia :)

How did I get into hockey? Actually the Motor City with the Wings was how I got in. I'm so disappointed that US coverage of this wonderful sports is barbarically pathetic. Even ESPN which is supposed to be awesome doesn't even cover half the hockey games that exist there! I never had satellite so maybe someday I can tune in to a Russian club hockey tournament. But who knows?  ;D

Welcome to RWD Mark. I am very fond of both soccer and hockey but don't follow the teams so much. I liked going to games when I was younger. OWW  in a way I could be considered a two week wonder as I took two trips one for 10 days and the second for 5 days and we had been corresponding for six months prior to my first visit. I don't know if being a OWW or TWW is something to be proud of. Maybe the gods were looking down upon us and we were lucky to find two very special women. Others are not so lucky and we read the crash and burn stories. I am very, very thankful I found the right lady and things progressed smoothly. I have spent much time learning about myself in this process. The first year was the most difficult of my entire life but was well worth it.
