And what would you expect, keeping in mind that she and her kid are in foreign country?. Would AW abandon her child and go with the man?

I've known it to happen, albeit rarely. In each case the 'child' was an adult male.  In my experience I have never encountered a woman who would leave her daughter in the motherland.

18-19 is the time for children to go on their own. But it does depends on each child. They may want to come to America if they are girls 20 years or older but not with their mother. With an American husband instead ;-) Most Russian girls really want to get out of the house and start their life at 19.Olga
Olga--- I have heard differently... that it is NOT unusual for children (especially girls) to live with their families until they are about 30... so they can save money and afford to purchase the things they will need when they live on their own, or with their children.   True?

Actually, I have to apologize… I forgot that we were talking about adult children, mine is not exactly an adult yet, 18 at the end of this month.

I always tried to find gals whose children were at least 17 or older.

Teenagers are enough trouble in any case (I certainly was), so didn't want to add to that teenager trying to adapt to a new country.

Another alternative (for some) would be children less than 5 years of age.
Not for me because of my age, but at that age they just might let you be their father.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

For current experience from all world wide foreign bride situations [with the pandemic and changing political viewpoint] I would suggest the broader information on the visajourney site.
