I started this thread to avoid derailing CG's thread too much as the point was brought up by 2tallbill and seemed an interesting one.

The website brings up some interesting points, some I already know, but some other points also worth a thought I think.

I notice in the article it points out that those guys of low status are most likely to get cheated on by their other halves unless their other halves are pretty undesirable so as to most guys just avoiding them. Another interesting point was that in contrast to this guys of high status did not get cheated upon as much as of course the woman has more to lose.

A lot of that is my reason for seeking to have a relationship abroad and keeping it abroad at least until some sprogs are churned out. I know if I brought a girl back here who is pretty all guys under the sun would be trying to move in on her. As said before in the UK my financial situation is ok but not as good as some. In the FSU such as Moldova though I come out well there. So in the FSU I come out higher up the hypergamy scale, that jeans I can have a shot at a half decent looking girl there and her not wishing to mess around  as I would be able to provide better than most other guys. Even me bringing in $/£1k a month is double that of many Moldovan guys who will just take in around $/£500 a month at best and that's them working for it. If I do working from home income activities ontop I can bring in even more, potentially. So as the article states in poor income countries a girl will put more preference on a guy with a stable income and will be less wiling to rock the boat and upset that

I protect myself from hypergamy drift by picking up women at either McDonald's or KFC, who have dropped out of at LEAST high school (middle school is better, elementary best, and never been no darn skoolin the bestest!) and have at least 2 kids with the local crackhead.

If you want to live there then go for it. Her options there would be exactly what they were before plus you. You'll find the same equivalents there as here, but if you are fairly decent with approaching women (and speaking the local language helps as well) you can pretty much bounce from one to another at will. It's a numbers game -- approach enough women without worrying - at all - about rejection and you'll get results.  Funny thing is, that works in your home country as well.

If you're worried about something/anything, cheating, being dumped for a better option, whatever - women can smell that on you and you immediately become less attractive and YOUR options decrease.
