At least she got her own name right.  One of the scammers that was writing me signed most of her letters "Tamara"  and two of them Elvira.

Then there was another scammer who wrote me using two different names saying they were from cities 1000 miles apart and sending the same photos.

My favorite was always when they wrote "Dear XXX" with XXX being my name and it was in a completely different font than the rest of the letter.

A million years ago I used to write some gals from the philippines through Cherry Blossoms.   It did not take too long for me to notice that all the letters started out the same.  Something like I will bet you are surprised to get a letter from so far away.   The next thing I noticed was I would get a few that in the upper right would say "actual date"   At first I thought it might be something peculiar about the way they wrote letters there.  These were all hand written by the way.  then I got one that had had written "actual date" in the top and then Insert actual name here" below it.  So obviously the reason the letters all started out the same was that Cherry Blossoms was giving them a sample letter to show them how to write to someone.  It did make me think later that the gals in Russia have a little more sense upstairs than the gals in the Philippines.

I am feeling left out. I would dearly love to receive a scam letter. Once in 5 years. She sent me a photo of Heidi Klum and was in love with me by the second email. By the third mail she wanted money for her mom who got injured in car accident. But that is it.

I would not mind having the opportunity to play one of these bimbos for a while.

Of the first six inquiries to my recent profile posting, one was a VERY obvious scammer ("will arrive to Columbus"  ??? . . . that's not in TEXAS . . .  ??? "November and have ticket . . . blah blah woof woof"), one, the first, was a very nice lady about 5-10 years older than I'm looking for, who I responded to respectfully, but negatively . . . three were my age or older, and simply unsuitable . . . one was a GUY.  :o

I think he might've been lost, lol.   ;D

Well, then you should post your profile on My Beloved Net (http://www.mybelovednet.com), and you may receive a letter written by Yulya from Popasna (Ukraine), like the following :

From: smuglyn_ka@mail.ru
Subject: from Yulya
am happy that you are still interested in me after reading my profile. Hope you read it carefully. I am very passionate and sexy and I want to receive the same from you in return. But at the same time I am romantic. I like to sit under the moonlight at nights, and hold hands and talk and kiss, and I will touch you affectionately, and whisper sweet things in your ear as we stroll in the night air. To have candle light dinners. To dance close to each other as you will press me lose to you and tell you how much you want me. To swim naked together in the night, and when we finish, I will do whatever you want me to do to you, just tell me what you like best of all the wonderful things I will do for you to make you happy.... If you want to get to know more about my thoughts, I'll be waiting for your letter to my address: smuglyn_ka@mail.ru. Swarthy, Yulya.

P.S. : she's also working ;) in Moscow (http://fei.ru/pages/ru/prostitutki/moscow/1036.htm)

No, but the OTHER site shows the photos she'll eventually send over when she feels a promising friendship is developing (1 or 2 letters later) ;D.

How unfortunate ;).

Anyway, here's the not unexpected conclusion of our promising correspondence:

Subject: "Information"
Dear Sir, We are the firm which provides Yulia K. with the access to Internet computer and interpreter. Unfortunately her account is over and she can not reply to your letter. ROTFL!

That's gotta be one of the worst "enhancement procedures" I've ever seen.

Reminds me of an old joke (The Two Ronnies, ITV):

R1 : "They are selling a new bra,  SHEEPDOG."
R2 : "Strange name for a bra."
R1 : "Not at all : seems it rounds them up and points them in the right direction." ;D

I heard a slightly different version---from a rodeo clown years ago.

It is a "Rawhide Bra" (from the TV show)
It rounds 'em up, and shoves them out.
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

Different words, same message. My quote dates back to 1971, when I was living in London, so it's probably earlier ;).

Well, since your link states :
Rawhide 1/9/1959 - 1/4/1966 CBS
then it appears the original source is there. Good digging, jb ;).
