Type of girl you are suited to

This one has kind of come up in my life of recent. Basically I've always kind of aimed at a girl who is pretty (above average looks but not model/super model) sweet, soft, and I guess kind of in the direction of a bimbo. A girl who is a bit of a tart kind of dolly girl type.

Suffice to say such girls are usually inundated with guys as that what I guess many guys (but not all guys) are attracted to. However, of recent I've come across a girl who is not like that (not that we are to get it together due to various issues that I won't go into) but instead kind of a bit more severe in some regards, kind of more of a bitch, more vocal, not without some feminine charm or physique, kind of more like my Sister's personality was when she was in her early-mid teens, occasionally a little combative ish.

Anyway kind of made me wonder if I am really that suited to a girl who is quite so soft and gentle and maybe instead to one who is a bit more vibrant? That I might have been slightly off target and after slightly the wrong type of girl all these years?

When it comes to my personality well I guess it's not always easy to self-assess oneself. Possibly though when I'm really being me I may possibly come across as more harsher than I realise. That of course may not go too well with a girl who is quite soft and gentle. That might be a mismatch there that I possibly hadn't realised. I mean any girl I get with I would still like them to tart them up, but I just wonder if the personality of the girl I've been going for I might have not realised may have not been quite right for me. Kind of like going for what I admire rather than what fits.

Would be interested in what you guys here think?

I've been getting what you've been saying Krim, it's the old 'if you're a 'successful' man' (wealthy) then you'll get...

And of course women in the FSU are looking for 'successful' men as are women the world over. If a man has 'success' (wealth) then age and a whole host of other stuff doesn't matter so much and of course the women then come to you and you don't have to search for women.

I think though you are in a pretty unique position Krim, there are not that many 'really successful' men percentage wise. Few people have the ability to make money quickly unless they get lucky due to being swamped with competition. For me I can only go at the much more modest pace, I get my house done, rent out some rooms, then start up a business that will hopefully bring home at least a modest income, maybe I buy a small holiday villa in Corfu & Airbnb it the time I'm not there, etc. Some way down the line I may get a bit more of a flash car and have time to work out a bit.

What do I have to offer a woman?

I would be able to keep her without her having to work, I could have a nice place in the sun for us to go to and we could travel around occasionally, that and hopefully have children.

That's about it, if that doesn't entice her to pony up then I don't think I can get to a point where I can offer much else. It's not bad in this day and age and a girl can't expect to meet a rich dude every day of the week. By FSU standards I'm guessing that offering probably isn't too bad.

"my unique position" as you call it, ain't so unique,  it's the result of decades of working my ass off and risk taking and making intelligent decisions, contrast that with someone who chose to live in their mama's village and working in a low paying job so they can slack off

why do ye think that somewhere/somehow there is a desirable woman willing to settle for you, when thus far the reality says otherwise?
you do realize I hope, that you're about to reach "Peak Trench" and once you reach the peak, then you start going down the hill instead of up it and what that does to your chances of reaching your goal

pretty much EVERY assumption you have about women is flawed
due no doubt to lack of experience

conclusion:
the odds of you finding a woman are remote
the odds of you keeping one, are even more remote
but don't let reality deter you
let your fanatsy lead you and not reality

The UK isn't Ukraine, inflation has remained high for a bit longer than thought, still a bit over 10 percent, but it will likely be decreasing in the next few months. This month I getting a wage increase that will match that inflation. Sure the whole inflation and previous fuel price rise (now mostly back down) will have had a small short term effect but that will be pretty negligible in the long term.

At the moment I can't tie myself down to anything other than do as Daveman says and go out and have a good time with a woman. That I will hopefully be getting to shortly.

I'm not sure what you would have me do to become a wealthy man Krim, siphon of some change from a kiddies gumball vending machine?

The 'Peak' part I get, I know there's a point where it all gets a bit late in the day, unless of course good fortune smiles, lottery wins and the rest, but that rarely happens. In general living sure it's kind of a get up the ladder a bit over time if possible and earn a few bob more if possible, but most Employers will want you to sweat pretty hard for that. That bring me to Self-employed stuff, that would be a better route. IF I can get onto something where decent money comes in without me having to bury myself over getting there. Hard work I don't mind so long as there is the reward and I'm not doing myself in over it.

I get your drift that my track record hasn't been that great, moreso with women, but I never wanted to accept a woman that I wasn't into. If I wanted an easier time I would have done, I sometimes wonder if I should but I'm not the type of guy that can do that without it weighing on my mind in not a good way.

Aside from a woman the rest of my life isn't too bad at the moment, I'm not far of becoming a Freeman, with a house without a mortgage of reasonable value and soon to be able to rent out some rooms. If I can then move from employment to decent self employment then I will be quite happy in that, not to say not more progress to make but I don't think I would be doing too bad.

Would I be able to get a girl and keep her, I don't really know. I see why there would be doubt but it will just be something that either floats or it doesn't. I wouldn't like it to not work out but I'm willing to give it a try regardless.

In theory it may be best not to overcook it. I'm not saying do nothing or not go get more but if I were in the very unlikely scenario to become vastly rich then it might be harder to distinguish those that had any feelings at all for me. I know of one guy that earns £100k a year but never discloses that to women as he doesn't want a woman who wants him for his money, though last I heard he was still single and pretty much always has been as I understand it.

I get some looks of interest from some decent women here and there but yeah I think my technique was all wrong, didn't realise that then of course. Had I push a few more things in my favour a little I could have probably sorted all this way back, but back in the day no internet (not like these days at least) and so little way of getting much idea on it all. Society was changing and I didn't realise how badly that was going against my chances also.
