Hi from TEXAS
« on: September 14, 2006, 04:51:45 PM »
Hi y'all,

Per the instructions in the welcome email I received, I thought I'd introduce myself here too, hope ya don't mind.  My name is Jerry, I am from TEXAS, Austin specifically.  I've been involved with RWG and others on the Yahoo forums and was recommended to this website only today.  Didn't know it existed until then!

I've been to the FSU several times now, was engaged once to a woman from Minsk, Belarus and have even been to less-travelled places like Baku, Azerbaijan.  Interesting trip that was.  So if I can be of help to anyone, I'd be glad to assist.  And if any of you are in the Austin area, let's consider meeting for dinner!

Best,

Jerry

Welcome aboard there Jerry. I have been to SPB/Moscow but not Tver. I have been told it is a decent place to go.

Hi, thank you for the welcome messages.  It's 6th street actually, and yeah it's still the happenin' place in Austin.  Live music out the wazoo.  TB and I will par'dner up, sure thang!  'Course unlike TB I am a native TEXAN, born and raised.  Broke my left wrist riding a bull when I was 12 and everything!  Yeah, only something a Cowboy would admit and others would laugh at, so go ahead....  ;)

Y'all take care, later!

I bet Dan again forgot to include in the welcome email the paragraph specifying the number of money orders, their amounts, and the addresses of the RWD members you need to send them to.   ::)

P.S. I just "Hate It" when I have live music coming out my wazoo! All the funny looks, my pants vibrating, hard to sit down....  ::)

Probably just some crossed wires. If your guarantee is expired, drive yourself over to the nearest Andro-Garage, and they should fix it. Just hope they don't have to remove and replace it (those spare wazoos CAN be expensive) ;D.

Yes, Conner, that was the point. Just in a mood tonight so a dig at both sides of the Tejas/Great Britian issue. Probably I should just keep my mouth (fingers) shut but Elena is at work and I'm being driven beyond my normal nuts by the non-stop energy of our little monster... ;D

Does that mean the overnight I did in a Childress jail when I was a teenager doesn't count for anything? Dagnabbit, I guess I'll have to buy the Jack then. Tough crowd tonight... ;D

Hey Wendell!

Cheers,
michelangelo

Hello there Michelangelo!
Yes, I was there. Kharkov for a week, and Sevastopol for a week. Back in Austin now. Won't hijack this thread, maybe do a t/r of my own. My method of mmst (many, many short trips) to the best prospects isn't working for me. I like your "living there" method, but right now I'm sitting on the sidelines for awhile.
Wendell
