SSA cards and restrictions

We have not had the time to all go to the SSA office to remove the restrictions "allowed to work with USCIS permission"  from the cards. Will it be ok to keep these cards for a few more months?
It seems just to be a formality anyway. I called SSA a while back and this cannot be done online it must be done in person.

As far as I know it is no problem to keep this card. She has her GC so that covers the exception on the SSN.

Larry, I'm with ken on this. That GC is like the master of all Platinum mastercards. She still must show her SSC as it has her SSN on it but that little notice they type on it doesn't matter. If you want it removed just apply for another card and show them the GC. Yes, you have to go to the office in person.
