After reading RWD I had my doubts about her.  the first 2 days I was constantly looking for signs she was bogus but nope, she wasn't.  She still is after me despite my informing her I'm taken...

== UPDATE ==

As I post on August 10... O's profile has been removed from the BeHappy Agency and from onewife.com.

She is listed with tverangels.com in Tver, a reputable and respected agency.

It is a fact sites like be happy and the like steal profiles and pictures from other sites.  They even change info, like with or without children, hobbies, etc.  I have spoken with several girls who were not even aware of what site they were on.  Best to find one that gives contact info and do the leg work yourself, and then hope for the best, or just use a reputable like Richard's or others recommended here.  Been there , done that paid video chats, e-mails and the like.  I found my gal by directly calling, and meeting her before any commitment started.

I want to confirm what has been written here.  I have personal knowledge that BeHappy is a scam.  I went there the first time when John was a rep and it was much better.  Now, forget it.  John was able to keep some things in check.

Here are some facts... Elona (#18869) works at the OsnaBruck Hotel there... she is happily married and said she is not even a member.  She went there to get photos done.  When I showed her her profile on the Hotel computer she was very upset.

Many of the interpreters write the letters themselves.  While at Kafe Art, I saw a girl that I was supposebly corresponding with, but did not meet the first time I was there.  I went over with one of my Russian friends.  I told her who I was, and the correspondance we had.  This girl apologized and said she has nothing to do with the agency anymore.  She also said she never wrote.

I ran into one of the secretaries that worked there last year.  She told me straight out that the interpreters are forced to write letters, pretending to be girls.

One interpreter, Katya, has her own scam going.  When you get a taxi from her, you get the same driver all the time.... They charge 3x the amount if you get your own taxi.

One girl that I was serious about and I met the first time I was there.  We exchanged telephone numbers and addresses.  We corresponded and talked on teh phone many times.  When I went there this time, me and her met on our own.  She said she was in love with me and wanted to marry me.  However, the agency got involved somehow, and they stopped her from seeing me.  My Russian friends called her and she said that the interpreter said I did not want to see her anymore.

When I sent flowers via the agency, the girls never got them.  When I went through a different Flower service, they did.

I can go on and on and on.  The shame is there are some very good girls that are serious at the agency.  But they are getted shammed too.

STAY AWAY FROM BEHAPPY2DAY!

Western men should also be advised that BeHappy Agency in Tver may be operating a sibling website... its called:

ONEWIFE.COM

Onewife carries many of the same profiles as BeHappy in Tver.
I wanted to bump this old thread to update anyone interested in the BeHappy/Onewife drama unfolding in Tver, Russia.

Interested parties should ALSO AVOID an agency calling itself:

ALLTVERLADIES.COM

Alltverladies carries many of the same profiles as BeHappy2day and Onewife.  It could be operated by Yaroslav Fahretnidov, who also owns BeHappy2day.

Correspondence at these agencies could be FAKE!  You can read the earlier posts in this thread to see my problems, and the difficulties with others.'

When it comes to alltverladies.com:

 = = = =  CAVEAT EMPTOR  = = = =  (Let the buyer beware!)

All the best- - - -

WOW!   awo--- that must have been emotionally traumatizing on the girl!   Its incredible how brutally Russians treat each other in this process.  I hope you were able to resolve all this drama AND minimize the emotional damage incurred.

Hi... I wrote about this agency before.... well I have more news about them...

I have many friends in Tver.  Some use to work for this agency but left because of their unscrupulous business actions.

Here is another complaint and warning to you all...

One of their favorite tactics is to dissuade more popular or pretty girls from actually hooking up.  I was dating a girl from this agency.... when I talked to her alone, her English was pretty good, she agreed to marry me.

The interpreters... I will not mention which ones... told her I was a player and a liar and could do better.  I don't know what else they said, but after that she never talked to me or saw me again.

I sent one of my friends over to see her... I had her number and address... My friend told her the truth.  Her reply... why should I believe you?  the interpreter is my friend.

Please, for your own good... stay away from this agency.

Good advice.  I also had a bad experience with that agency, and they should be avoided at all cost, IMHO.

I would not want to say that she is legit but if a woman appears on many sites with the same identity number and profile data, chances are that these sites share the database. If you lost trust, tell her and do not lead her on. This just in the slim case that she is legit. After all even the worst sites have some real women on them.

As a new member I just came across this thread and wanted to comment on the BeHappy2day web site...  I'm certain that local agencies must share data or the companies have some connection.

I'm sure you've heard this all before- but as it comes from the "horses" (ladies) mouths... Behappy2day, army-of-brides ( and all their incarnations) anastasiaweb, bla bla, that use the pre paid tokens model to allow, correspondence DO have genuine ladies on their sites... but the ladies rarely instigate the correspondence - the agency write a standard letter to men that fit THEIR "criteria" and it is very broad!

I can tell you of TWO cases where the lady has "written" to me introducing herself.. yet we'd already met on one occasion and the other lady and I had previously made direct email / telephone contact.

Indeed, when I contacted the ladies concerned they were shocked and had themselves removed form the agency concerned.

Many FSU women ( without regualar use of a pc - speaking poor English)  tend to use agencies in their locale and simply don't know all the affiliations.

My advice.. if you find a lady you like - note id ID number, height / weight age combo and do searches on other sites to see if you can find her there, too.

It is amazing how you will find different / same profiles and wide variations in photographs and even the AGE of the lady :).. it can also show how long the lady has been on sites.

I don't think it's a good idea to reveal you know all these things to your lady, as she might not know all the places where her profile is posted!

YET.. you will still make mistakes... When I fist saw my ( eventual) wife's profile, I was "interested" but she said her English was basic - ( not ideal in my view) and there were plenty of photos of recent ( within the last year and two years) photos of her in beautiful foreign locations....  I WRONGLY ( nearly terminally Wrongly) assumed that she had been taking holidays with other men..... until she sent the photos with her and her son -she was still married at the time....  Luckily we had got to a stage where our telephone / email correspondence allowed enough "interest" to deal with this lack of trust on my part  :-[

Some ladies know very well and control where they appear, and others purely use an agency as they don't have regular use of a computer ( this type getting less, I'll admit )

So my advice is get the ladies home phone and real address - if you are interested - ASAP - and the problem is -these prepaid "token" agencies won't like that. .. that's why *I* think it's better to search for a lady you CAN communicate with over the phone- or talk to in combination with a live messenging service on a pc to show some emotion and you can write something she doesn't understand and allow her to translate... if she is INTERESTED, the lady will learn fast - as in many cases the english school knowledge will return.

OH and if you REALLY like each other - DON'T be ( a keyboard Romeo - another member here used this expression - and it's very apt) .. get over there and check her out - cause if she's that good - he who hesitates WILL lose.

Sorry if this "advice" is familiar, boring, disappointing or even insulting  :-[

I could tell you many a horror story about Yaroslav & his ilk, but as a direct competitor in Tver I will just post a copy of an email I received a day or two ago from my Secretary in the Tver office:

Hello Richard, many girls, who are also registered in the agency «Be Happy» tell us that for them were made some threats. They should log out of our program, otherwise they will be in much trouble there. What do you think about it, what should we do in this situation?
Lena

This is not the first time he has threatened women in my agency. Many are deathly afraid of him & his friends. He intimidates any woman who registers with us that is also registered with him. Most times it works but but the odd time the lady ha the courage to tell him to piss off!! He is the lowest of the low & just for the record, to my knowledge, he is not affiliated with AOB, although they are as bad, but most assuredly he is part of AWeb, lowest of the low.
When a company has to resort to threatening the women that says volumes about them. He is a slimball & nothing more.

Hi guys,
Well I have been talking with a gal from behappy.com. "O" is her name. Today I was going to buy a plane ticket to go visit with her in November in person when I get my vacation for time off from work for the first time. But, something has struck me funny the past few weeks. Now mind you "O" has never asked me of anything money or what have you. But to make a long story short... I decided to do some leg work today and looking at many different web sights to see if I can find "O" on them. Well low and behold.. onewife.com, behappy2day.com, "O" has the same ID number and... Russian~women.net  Angelika network, 2oceansoflove.com, once again the same ID number ID for "O" is on these two web sights as well and she is listed on anastasiaweb.com. Who here says this is a scam raise your hands! Perhaps I will send off a letter to her to meet me in Kiev and send her $300 USD to take a train up there and I will have two apartments waiting for us but she will have to meet me at the airport seeing as I cant read Russian nor speak the language well and not show up?  :P And one dude does come to mind "Y" I wonder how he would like meeting me for stealing money from someone?  8)
kinda late to answer maybe LOL   i just wanted to say to you guys that if you find your lady on other websites - that might NOT be a sign of scamming, if she uses one of those agencies (if they have partner websites) they will work on posting her profile on as many dating websites as they can, it generates more replies, how simple it is....  other side of it is 1) it might mean that lady doesn't have a knowloedge of Internet or any PC skills, 2) she doesn't know HOW to do any of her own advertising 3) sad one: she might not even know she was posted on all those websites or she might not even be a seeker...............................................

As of this morning onewife.com, behappy2day.com, and alltverladies websites were down. Maybe this is a temporary technical problem or maybe we should look for a new scam agency to arise from Tver.

If there is still any questions about alltverbrides & behappy2day being the same just look at the front page, not the profiles just look under Join Know you will see a young lady in Red. This is 100% the same girl and looks to be the same video? 2 + 2 +

Richard is telling you the truth we have also had many girls tell us that they would be kicked out of behappy2day if we join other agency.

Unfortunately, the MOB industry is full of outright scams.

Tver Romance is just one hair above that.  It's not an outright scam.  The girls are real, you can go meet them if you want.

Natasha Deeva (Tver Romance owner) was once a 'terp for Lifetime Partners.  She started her business by stealing the client list from LTP and soliciting some of the girls to join her agency.

There's been some reports of Natasha's agency fabricating letters.  If you go digging through the archive you can find the threads.  In that thread, Natasha herself joined the thread, but her rebuttals were wholly off-topic and contentless.

I'd encourage you to go bark up some other trees.  There's plenty of agencies with better reputations, go use one of them.

Marc,

Some of these squabbles between agencies becomes tiresome - particularly when there are no clear demarcations of wrong-doing or if it's just 'turf' protection.

Maybe take a look at the Agency Code of Ethics (ACoE) and then, if you see something they are violating - that would be of interest.

Here is the ACoE in English -- http://www.certifiedmarriageagencies.org/index.php?pid=2,

And in Russian -- http://www.certifiedmarriageagencies.org/index.php?pid=17
