Michelangelo also liked the corn-topped pizzas in Celentano's! When I saw it I had a Kurtz moment, like "the horror, the horror!" :)
Hey, I "felt" my name being used in vain, and see--I was correct!  ;)

Groove, I do believe the pizza at Celentano's is as good as anything in Chicago or NY.  Even NJ :-)

But after my first veggie with corn, I cut the corn, much to the chagrin of my gf.  ;D

Michel, next time you're in NYC we're going to Lombardi's, Grimaldi's, or Patsy's, and dinner is on me. If it's not the best pizza you've ever eaten I will bungie jump nude wearing a Putin mask off one of the onion domes at St. Basil's Cathedral in Red Square.

Do you remember the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi? I used to work near his kiosk, it's close to Grand Central Station. Each day at lunch time there was a line of people a block long; and it's the same for the best pizza joints here.

FSU didn't make the list...  :-\

Yep, I used to live on 55th Street at Broadway, a half block away from the Soup Nazi.  Loved his soup, and he did "correct" me in line once :-)  He is expanding now and opening a soup shop in North Park mall in Dallas, as well as a number of other locations.

You are on for the pizza bet :-)

And speaking of Pizza, there is a joint call Joe's down the street.  Think I will order us their Hawaiian now in time to cuddle up and watch Dancing with the Stars, which is Vik's favorite program here in the US.  Go Emmitt :-)

Turbo, from reading your important message above - Lugansk has the greatest abundance of attractive and available women.  Yet, Lugansk is widely known as scammer central.  Any reason why no legitimate agency has been able to bridge the gap?  Also, why do so few men find a wife from Lugansk?  I am sure some of you know a guy or two, but I have not run into any.

I think Lugansk scares off a lot of people.  That makes less competion.  After all the 11th golden rule is never deal with an agency from Lugansk.    Actually there are a few good ones there.

I've posted this information before, perhaps it needs to be said again.  I know a young engineer from Lugansk, he went to school with my stepson in Utah.  During a couple of  school summer vacations he spent some time here with us.  He is adamant about never going back to Lugansk, he has since immigrated to Canada after graduation.  During one such visit I questioned him about Lugansk and asked why the city had such a bad reputation.  His reply was both honest and shameful.

He would be the first to warn anyone off from doing business in Lugansk.  He told me that the city was once, during the old Soviet days, not a bad place to live and grow up.  However since then most of the factories are closed and employment is rampant.  People have become used to surviving by hook or by crook.  Anyone going to Lugansk with money in their pocket is not looked upon as anything except a possibe source of some money.  So when a Ukrainian man from Lugansk tells you that you should avoid a place, that Lugansk would only see you as a wallet on legs, I think you should pay attention.

I enjoyed your most excellent reports Turbo.

Do you, or anyone else, have web links to your host Jack?  I would like to learn more about the tours for myself.

Thanks Jet,   The biggest danger is Pnemonia.  They forgot to tell me to pack my winter survival gear just as if I was going to the North Pole.   Funny part (not so funny)  my gal refused to dress warm because she did not want to be warm while I was cold.  Sooooo,  Next thing you know she is sick as a dog.  Terrific gal though.

The story was miraculous! During 5 days we had experienced a lot of various emotions. I think Turbo enjoyed being in Siberia, especially last day when we discuss about this forum. He is the best man I have ever met on Internet! I would like to spend with him the rest of my life but it is impossible…there is too large age difference between us. And that is pity. In other case, I could not think of a happier choice I could have ever made than Turbo.

Welcome, VW.    Are you really a Russian Woman? (RW).

If so, I'm glad you had a good time with Turbo.  He's a great guy!

And what next... Do you think that you will be able to find a man like Turbo who is younger ? And if you don't find these younger version of turbo, what will be the next move ? Stay alone or choice a lower quality man ?

I think that a member here can maybe explain you the possible difficulty of a couple with a great difference of age... but show you that it is possible too... So, if you wish, maybe you can PM to KenC... better keep these discussion outside the forum... maybe more interesting for you, communicate with the wife of KenC...

Seem that you find Turbo wonderful, a possible husband if it was not the age difference... since the age difference was already know before, why it become a problem only now ?

In any case, good luck in your quest to hapiness...

Bruno,

vwrw is exhibiting an admirable quality, she admitted that she had little experience with a large age differences, tried and made a decision based on experience vs values.

Sure, marriage may be a compromise, but compromise should not be the basis of a marriage.

With that kind of attitude I don't believe she should fear facing life with either leftovers or solitude.

You're doing just fine vwrw!

VWRW, I have a different perspective on age differences.

None of us know the future.  For example, a young friend of mine, age 18, was killed in an automobile accident this summer.  He only had 18 years of life.

None of us know how long we will have.  We could get sick, there could be an accident, the world could end.

So I say live each day in happiness and fullness.  If you found the best man ever, then don't dismiss him because of age differences.

My wife is much younger than me.  But we are the same in our love for life and our outlook on life.  Age is not a difference to us.

Tuesday night we had dinner with an American man and Russian woman. They have been married 4 years.  They have an age difference of 31 years, and are very very happy.

So don't count the years in advance.  Live them.  If you have the best 20 years of your life with this man, that is wonderful.  Maybe it will be 30 or more. No one knows.

Many people will give you advice.  But only you can decide.  After all, it is your life.  Good luck  :)
