UK Channel 4 Programme "Diary of a Mail Order Bride" 3/10/06

Just watched this programme with my lady as I know a few of the UK lads have also.

The programme was about 3 losers.............

One an Americanmaun (from Texas of course) on a Social to St Petersburg "I am going to buy me a wife" he went home empty handed after being ripped by a pro dater, dumped by another and had his gonads tickled in a taxi by 2 semi hookers.

Another was a loser from London who made some poor girl pay her own 5 day train from Siberia to Czech to marry him in some pisspot bargain basement ceremony - they now live in England. Genuine girl hoodwinked by loser from London.

The last one was some guy on Welfare in a pisspot town called Waterfoot about 40 mins from Manchester, he was an old alcoholic who shipped some fat ugly bint over on a 6 month fiance visa - she lasted 4 weeks in his rat hole house and hot footed it back to Russia.

My lady and I watched open mouthed at these losers and what sad truths about this subject the programme makers flushed out!

All you cheerleaders, tell me this was not a portrayal of the dirty barrel at its finest!

Damn Manny - you almost got me there! I almost took your post seriously!

But then I remembered all your expressed cynicism, and I recognized there is no possible way that you, of all people, would actually write; "what sad truths about this subject the programme makers flushed out!"

I mean surely someone of YOUR mental capacity would recognize the motives and veracity of such a stalwart newscasting organization as UK Channel 4?? Right?

And BTW - if you look hard enough, you are likely to see one of the RWD sister sites on display in the programme.

Sad truths indeed - makes me ashamed to be English watching those 2 losers! I would pin it on the two Brits!

Come on Dan - what do you know about this? I saw no succinct advertising? The london guy is apparantly an RMP member but do you know the Texas guy on the social?
