May Be Meeting Two Women - Kiev and Vinnitsa

Not sure if this is the proper place for this topic, but here goes, anyhow...

I'm considering flying from Chicago to Ukraine - first to Kiev to meet one lady, then a second one that lives in Vinnitsa but wants to spend a couple of days first in Kiev.  The deal is this...lady # 1, that lives in Kiev, probably only has a weekend to spend together due to her work schedule.  This is fine with me, because lady # 2 has more time than that.  And even better, as I mentioned in another thread, lady # 1 is all for me meeting another lady while I am there in case things don't work out with us.  I really like them both a lot.  Here's the thing...though I can't find the email at the moment, Vinnitsa's agency told me something about $250 USD, I think it was, to round-trip taxi from Vinnitsa=>Kiev=>back to Vinnitsa.  I understand Vinnitsa is about 250 km from Kiev, and I don't think there is an airport in Vinnitsa...and I don't want to deny her coming to Kiev to meet me and spending time there first, but something smells fishy about this $250.  "Vinnitsa" doesn't know English well, and while I will try to learn some Russian before coming there, I highly doubt that we will be able to communicate very well within that short timeframe.  So, her agency also mentioned "$7/hour for translator", which doesn't sound unreasonable, but the thought of an interpreter hanging with us weirds me out.  I can spend a number of days with her, but I'm "concerned" that the communication gap is going to come into play.  They are both really interested, as I am, but I don't really know what to do about all of this.  "Kiev" knows English, though not fluent, but I think enough so we can understand each other.  As long as I have the opportunity and am close to Vinnitsa if I am going to Kiev, I want to meet her, too.  We've been corresponding for some time.

There are a ton of other gals you can meet in Kiev.  Why not just forget the gal in Vinitsa and have an agency hook you up with a couple in Kiev.   

The two fifty sounds about right.   I was quoted $ 200.00 about 3  years ago, which I paid, which the gal pocketed.

Kiev is 100 times more fun than Vinnitsa.  Stay in Kiev.

If the Vinnitsa woman has plenty of time as she says, she will take the 8-12 hour train ride or bus for $30-40 and pocket the rest (if she shows).

For $250 you can have an agency arrange meetings with at least 10 women, maybe 15 or more.  Which is better:  10-15 pretty birds in your hand or one in the bush?  I can give you some names of agencies in Kiev, starting with kiev Connections and a smaller one starting with a D (must look it up).

You can hire an interpreter from Kiev at probably $10/hr but you can say "adios" at any time.

I suggest an apartment with a sleeper sofa if Miss Vinnitsa makes the trip.

Vinnitsa being about 250 km from Kyiv is an easy bus trip - AND -the fare for one person is 35 Hr. (about $7 USD). Note the times for the bus are that the bus picks up in Vinnitsa at 3:25 AM, and arrives into Kyiv at 7:55 AM. Looks like only the one route per day on Autolux - though there are usually other buses at different times, and their price structure will be quite similar to Autolux.

If you need an interpreter in Kiev I can hook you up with an outstanding one.  The last I knew her rates were $ 7.00 for the first hour and $ 5.00 after that.  She is one of the best I have worked with if not the best.

I agree with Dan and Myself.  Forget Vinittsa.  If you really want to go, I can hook you up with the scammer who took my $,  She only ripped me off for $ 200.00 for the trip.  That will save you $ 50.00.
