Hello everybody!
I have been reading posts on this forum for a few weeks now after it was referred to me from Kevin at Kherson Girls. I'm 44 yrs. old, divorced, two teenage daughters. Dating women in the US is not an issue for me...I have met and dated some good girls. The turning point for me to look East was my experience dating a girl from Poland here on a visa (she was an au pair). Great girl, great experience, I traveled there after her year here about once a month. We were going to get married, but do to intense circumtances (her Mom got cancer, she's an only child, pressure from parents to stay in Poland), we decided it was best to sacrafice our relationship for the sake of her Mom, etc. After healing emotionally from that experience, I knew I was hooked on the culture out East. I made my first trip to the FSU (Moldova) last year just to check things out and see what was up with this whole concept. I met a girl there I had corresponded with on Anastasia Web and really, it was a great experience. Not somebody I wanted to marry, but I learned a lot about the dating process, photos on a profile vs. reality, etc. Then I made my first trip to Ukraine the beginning of March...to Kharkov. Met a couple of agency girls and ended up making some great local friends . Having served in the US Navy at the tail end of the cold war as an aircrewman (aerial photographer) on a sub-hunting aircraft, I was in awe that I was standing in Ukraine. I just absorbed the culture, people, history, food, etc. and was more interested that visit in just the whole cultural experience. On the last day I was there, I met another agency girl who I really was interested in. After monthly visits to Kharkov until this past August, I spent a lot of time with this girl before the reality hit that she was what everybody was telling me a "professional dater". Fortunately, I had that gut feeling and never was taken for too much. She's a good girl...just not good for me. Learned a lot, made a lot of good friends there, and will be going back next week to meet a couple of agency girls again and have a local friend there help me out with doing the newspaper ad concept. Before anybody thinks I must be some wealthy guy by being able to do all this travel, I am not. I work for an airline, flexible schedule, and great travel benefits!
I've read a lot of the threads here and feel there is so much more to learn and share from everything I read here. I look forward to interacting with many of you.
Respectfully,
Rich (RK)
