Another sub-30

Hi,

I've been reading this board along with the KhersonGirls yahoo group for a little while.  I'm on the young side (24), but I'm marriage minded.  Most of the women in my age group here in America seem like they're either busy "trying to find themselves" or career focused.  I've got a decent paying job so trips to the FSU should be within my budget (depending on how the company's stock does).  I own my own home, so I'm reasonably responsible.  I've traveled through Europe and like the culture.  I don't know how Western/Central Europe compares with Eastern Europe, but I'm pretty open to other cultures.  I'm thinking about going to Ukraine next Spring/Summer.

Normally, I'd say you are too young, but if you own your home it demonstrates your ability to save and plan ahead.  Plus, i like the idea that you have traveled in Europe before. 

Actually, Moscow and Kiev do compare with parts of western europe. So I think you'll be ok.

However, my advise is that you don't go there to find a wife, but instead go there to date and meet girls from a different culture.  With that goal in mind, you won't rush it and will meet success.

I saw this title & I thought it was about the weather!!!
Sorry, I'm a little off, its snowing here today for the first time this year & we have been warned it is going to be a long cold winter this year & I am not looking forwad to it!!! Of course who would be?

I agree with BC. You are young enough to just have fun and see what happens. You can always join an agency in 10 years after your first divorce

On a first trip, I do recommend a good agency.  They will have flats in safe neighborhoods to rent you, and can provide terps and a list of girls to write to in advance and to meet when you arrive.

After you get your feet wet, an agency will no longer be needed.

Not sure I will recommend you an agency ... use a freelance guide that will manage everything for you, subscribe to personals sites and start to correspond with women around 3 months before your travel, more, you will be losing your time and money. Rent an apartment, do not go to the hotel.
If you need a good guide in Kiev, contact me, I will recommend you someone.

My suggestion, read the forums, ask questions and then decide.

Just walk around and chat them up.  Many of the women in their early 20s speak English and will be receptive to young stud muffins.  Many may even be serious about a relationship.  There are guides to help you select good clubs and avoid those with working girls.  In the summer, you can meet thousands of young women on the street, in McDonalds, coffee shops, etc.

Yes, a nice thing about FSU is that people more readily share tables at fast food restaurants and even in regular sit down restaurants.  I am never looking at teeny boppers or 20 somethings, but have had many interesting conversations with them simply by sharing a table and initiating a conversation.

On one of my recent trips I sat with a gal at a table outdoors at a McDonalds.  She was going to college and couldn't describe to me what her major was.  I mentioned several majors (history, business, psychology, etc.) but she said no to each.  Finally her eyes brightened and she saluted me.  I said, oh the military.  She said yes and then made waving motions with her hand.  So I said naval officer, and she said yes.
