I met my lady through a free Russian language dating site and let me tell you, this route has both its advantages and disadvantages. (I voted for "Personals")

The advantages:  Little exposure to other foreign men, never received empty promises, not a professional dater, not trained by agency to say certain things, very grateful for even the smallest of gifts (unspoiled)

The disadvantages:  Not sold on moving out of their home country, completely unaware of the Visa process, does not comprehend the vast changes ahead
