Supporting the 'good girls'
« on: October 30, 2006, 05:26:41 PM »
Rare, it seems, is the FSU woman who understands this process from the man's viewpoint and can be logical in the discussions of this process.

A few years back on Planet Love was the married woman Elena who posted as Russian Wife.  She was a very smart woman, gave much good advice, and eventually even came to endorse the idea that the man should never go on a WOVO trip.

Unfortunately, she was the exception.  We are mostly visited by the Feminazi types as shown by our Moscow gals.

Recently, we have seen postings by two gals who seem in the mode of Elena.

Turbo's vwrw seems very open minded in that she fully understands the process that Turbo has gone through and must go through to find his woman.  vwrw will get a lot of support from this board because she is associated with a longtime male member.

However, there is a second gal who also deserves our support.  I am speaking of Galina who posts as Smartcat.  Her posts also display a woman who fully understands the problems that men face in this endeavor.  Yet she seems to not get much support.  For instance she recently started a new thread in this section and got just one response.

So guys, would you rather encourage a gal like Galina to stay around, or are you happy with the Feminazi's??

Jeez Albert, where are these Feminazis? If you refer to Kvinna and Elen (who seems to have gone missing, sadly), you've completely mislabeled them, for Pete's sake. I'd say "contrarian" is more a more apt label.

I don't often agree with what they say but I'm appreciative of their views because they speak freely and I strongly believe their intentions are good. If the only useful RW contributers are those who pat us on the back and agree with our strategies, then what's the point of discussion?

Elen got miffed over the notion that she was not allowed special privileges here and decided to go off in a huff.

Kvinna has recently returned and posted as recently as yesterday.

Further, I hope to be able to make the formal announcement soon of a MAJOR new initiative which will have a major positive impact on the industry, and is the result of an active collaboration which includes Antidate (Kvinna and Elen and others).

Oh oh, I'm in trouble here. I am also named Albert but Alfie is my nickname. I was worried about a double being here.

Being supporting of the good girls in my opinion entails being a good example. Going to find a lady in the FSU requires a strong character who has a sincere intent with circumspect approach.

I missed Elen leaving in a huff, too bad because though usually contrary she did offer good travel, place  and cultural insights in Russia.  Kvinia offers nothing a cat would not drag in so its too bad she posted yesterday.   Any way to get her to leave in a huff?  Who is Galina anyway?  The ones who come and go quickly usually are trolls anyway.  VWRW came here seeking information which she received, no problems.  Smartcat also seeks information and I believe we are reaching out to her.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Galina, aka Smartcat, have a commercial interest in all this?  She lists herself as a "Guide" in Kiev and has pretty good English skills, I have to wonder if she isn't trolling for translator work on the boards.  It's in her best interest to be a "good girl" here, much as Stirlitz knows how his bread is buttered.

JB, Galina ( smartcat ) have not really promote her business here until now... and the more important, have never participate in flame war related to her "business"...

Specially when her main job is web-administrator / Web Building... maybe she can be from some help next time that Dan change his forum engine  ::)

Of course, like a lot of FSU ladies, she have "side" jobs :
- assistant for English-speaking travellers in Ukraine
- arranging apartments in Kiev
- guiding
- meeting in airport
- ...
