Is anyone else planning to see this movie with their wife?  Mine has been asking about it for several weeks.  I think the Borat character is hilarious... a lot of his videos are posted on youtube.com. Nice... high five...  wawaweewah

Repost from Michelangelo thread:

Borat was hilarious, and my Ukraine girlfriend loved it too. The movie makes more fun of Americans than anything else, so you know how FSU women love that!

I'm not sure why Russia has banned it, it's great propoganda against America. I was truly embarrased with some of the people, and how ignorant they are. For those of you who don't know, Borat is a character created by comic Sascha Cohen, he poses as a naive Khazakstan reporter that asks real Americans questions (not actors) The answers he gets, and his hilarious behavior are what makes it so fun to watch.

There is one particular scene in the middle of the movie that everyone who has seen it knows what I'm talking about, it's the funniest thing I have ever seen, and if she likes slapstick than she will be laughing til it hurts. The whole theatre (packed) was dying laughing during this scene, but the whole thing is really funny, check it out. - David

The villagers portrayed in the movie are suing him, if I'm correct.  Anyway, tommorrow is my day off work, so I'm going to see it in the middle of the day.  I hate crowds, and there's hardly anybody there except mothers taking kids to a disney show.

I really dug it. It's definitely one of the best satires in quite some time. I plan to watch it again.
