HIGH END AGENCY
« on: November 08, 2006, 11:45:18 AM »
Check this out!

 www.MyLada.com

Now, gentleman that service:)

I liked how it read VERY much ... and was giving it a chance until I read the part about many clients go to visit their match with an engagement ring?!?!?!?!?

That sort of goes AGAINST common sense and everything us newbies have come to take as dogma.

Fun to read though, huh  And, what the hell, if I can dig up an extra 25K next year, why not - but that does not even cover the cost of travel and accommodations.

Stepford like!  I am of the thinking that these types of programs were more abundant in the past 10 years than today?  anyone know?

Interesting that they are located in Roswell, GA.  One of my wife's best friends back in Kiev (another RW married to an AM) lives in Roswell also.  I guess if anyone is seriously interested, my wife could ask her friend to check them out a little.

Agencies for true suckers always have been around.   25 k, come on.  All they need is to land one or two big desperate somewhat wealthy losers each year.

Engagement ring?  That reminds me of a girl I met in Kharkov a couple of years ago, by accident (I thought). Within 3 days she had moved in with me.  Two days later she was showing me very expensive engagement rings in a jewerly store!

I didn't bite!  ;D

The prices were VERY high.  Now I realize the shopkeeper likely put up fake prices, just for me  ;D

Well seems they fully embraced IMBRA in their enrollments..

http://www.mylada.com/imbra.html

Is the first time I have seen so much attention given to it on an agency site, but guess I don't peruse them that awful much.

And yet I can not help but wonder ... with such a high end approach, yea, it is possible that this kind a agency identifies/finds/recruits a MUCH higher end candidate (education, looks).

AND then plowie!  I think BS ...  And then again....

You see, it is all about what's behind the magic curtain.

Are you $hitting me?

$25k and no 50,000 mile guarantee.

Strange that the one woman they chose for a video speaks no English (or perhaps is dumb) and has a sizeable patootie.

The women photos are very beautiful – wonder if they are real or lifted from a modeling site.

And the choice of Lada.  If Lada costs $25k, what would the Cadillac service cost.  (a Lada is an inexpensive Russian car that started with importing an obsolete Fiat assembly line).

Not quite so (I'm not being nationalistic ;)) :
The Fiat 124 is a large family car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat between 1966 and 1974...and instantly won critical acclaim, including that year's European Car of the Year award.
In 1970, Fiat sponsored the building of the AutoVAZ car factory in the Soviet Union. The factory produced an adapted version of the 124 known as the Lada ВАЗ-2101 / Zhiguli (later Lada Riva).

Lada came out when the Fiat 124, and its assembly line, were still going strong.

Great Sandro!  Next time you are in Russia, why don't you buy a couple of Ladas.  I bought my ex-fiancee one.  Brand new.  Electric windows.  Heated seats. Even a stabilizer bar.  $6500.  I would say that we were overcharged except that the warranty covered a lot of problems (and there were many).

Funny story.  As typical the dealer had a few hundred dollars of extras on the invoice.  I went through them one by one, receiving a translated explanation.  When I complained about the $25 for tightening bolts, I was informed "It is made in Russia."  We drove out and she was so happy until 5 minutes later when it started to rain - she turned on the wipers and both fell off to the ground.  I guess we should have paid for the $15 screw-tightening option.

$25,000 sounds like a good price to me. Sign me up. I remember looking at one site that charged $50,000 if you bought their platinum package.

Lot's of fancy talk at www.mylada.com/index.html but where are the girls?
