Yes, I did find this website by Googling Maria, in May 2007 before I sent my first e-mail.  How is my math in error.  You say you wrote her in early 2005.  Is this when she told you she had been engaged twice.  2tallbill wrote in May that when he wrote Maria she told him no one had ever visited her.  Oops, o.k. "Grissom" posted that Maria was engaged when she was 18 to a Russian man.  There goes one.  That leaves the second.  When did it happen?  But, this is irrelevant isn't though because you don't believe 2tallbill.  Hmm, o.k. moving on.

Do you really beleive a woman that beautiful has nobody to visit her?

No.  Just the opposite.  She has had a buttload of guys visit her, sent her flowers, candy, stuffed animals.........money. 

What this boils down to Wild Bill is that you have your opinion and I have mine and nothing I have read here is reason for my opinion to change.

I don't think Maria told 2tallbill that "nobody had EVER visited her". How do you know that was exactly the wording she used? Why twist her words? I assume she meant nobody visited her from all those guys who wrote her "on that site" and promised her the moon and the stars. Or, perhaps, she meant that guys wanted to visit a few women besides her? That must have been true at the time when 2tallbill asked the question. That was Elena's Models, wasn't it? That was the real Maria there, as far as I am informed. I think your math exercise just doesn't make much sense. Why do you assume that her "fiances" would only be someone she met "on the net"? Wrong! Her first fiance was a local Russian guy whom she loved very much and she was 18 at that time. Her second fiance was an American guy and that did not work out. She is a serious, classy woman, who knows what she wants and would not get engaged with just anyone.

"Grissom", just exactly where does the 2nd fiance come into the picture, before 2005, after 2006?  You seem to have an unusual amount of knowledge about Maria.

Sure enough she did not keep your emails, why do you jump to that kind of conclusion? She forwarded them to me, I read them, we both had a little laugh and off they went to the recycle bin. Well, you are not Maria.  Who would have guessed.  Your posts resemble the comments made by Maria herself during a dialog we had on another discussion group last summer. Since we are posting e-mails here I think I'll fish through my yahoo inbox and post this dialog in its entirety.  In fact, if I'm not mistaken there are copies of all the e-mails we exchanged.  We'll learn such wonderful things like Maria's explanation for answering my 1st e-mail and if her explanation is consistent with her actual response.  Decisions, decisions.  Hmm.  I had forgotten about the New Year's e-mail.  Now that is hilarious.  If you are looking for some land I've got a couple hundred acres in SW Florida I'll let you have cheap.  Does Maria have the habit of sharing all of the e-mails she receives from "disgruntled" guys with you "Grissom".  If she does, you either have an excellent memory or I have made one hell of a lasting impression.  Awesome!
I'm having a hell of a good time also, so keep firing away.   This is almost as much fun as watching a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest.  By the way, I didn't ask how you found this website so why bring it up?  Why would you care about what guys think of Stavropol?

How old are you Bill? Just curious. Maria did prefer older men for quite some time. She is attracted to intelligence and sophistication and hoped to find it in someone mature. And that's right, she has always been like a magnet for all the weirdos and losers in the world. The guy she met on Elena's Models grabbed her arm and tried to hurt it when they met. How does that sound to you?  Or Wesley Williams/ Juggernaut who went vertical when she decided he couldn't be Mr. Right for her. She only ever answered like 2 of his letters, good G-d they didn't meet. I couldn't help myself when she shared with me some of their writing. It is hard for young selective FSU women to meet a good man. So do not be surprised or appalled if you see someone as pretty as Maria in a long search. It should only tell you a girl like this is not just after her greencard, she is after her soulmate and happiness. It should tell you she is sincere. And don't you forget that many people just wrote her out of curiosity, the same way 2tallBill did.

I am 46 now so I was 44 (I think). I was estimating the approximate time when I wrote to her.
