Green Card Approved, Yee Haw!!!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say that my wife got a letter from Immigration that her removal of conditions (10-year green card) was approved.

Thank god,  there should be no need for an interview where we will be asked to kiss each other in front of the interviewer to prove we love each other. LOL

I had called almost 1 1/2 months ago to ask how the process was going and seems to have stimulated some movement in her case, or maybe we were just lucky that it wasn't hung up in the process somewhere.

Does anyone have any ideas about the wait time on how long it took to receive the green card after you went to the local service office to turn in the passport photos and fill out the necessary forms.  Just curious.

All I know is that the wait time here in NYC for adjustment of status is over 2 1/2 years according to the BCINS website.   Consider yourself a very lucky man - congratulations :dude:!
