Where is Mir when I want to talk cricket???
« on: December 05, 2006, 03:49:25 AM »
Sorry Mir, couldn't help it but I KNOW you would have seen the result of the Second Test in Adelaide huh?

Can the Aussies go 5-0 in the series?  I don't know... I think the Ashes are coming home though!

(For those that don't know the Ashes Urn - THE TROPHY - won't actually stay in Australia because the English feel that they own the trophy so it's not exchanged at the end if each series).... >:(

BRING ON THE THIRD TEST I SAY!

Why the Britts must give you back the ashes (Throphy) when the Queen is still the head of your state? LOL

Ahhhhh wiz,

You used to be my favourite "RWD member who was born in Greece and lives in the UK"...   ;)

I'm a traditionalist...  I like sharing a Queen.  She's our constitutional Head of State and you guys keep her dripping in jewels.

If we became a republic we'd just have another politician in office with his own staff, expenses and personal agendas.

I'm so much of a traditionalist that I hope one day to meet a wonderful girl from a far away country that has traditional values too...    ;D

Does it work like the Aztec ball game, where winners where sacrificed (in your case incinerated, too) ;D?

Well I am sulking of course. :(
Yes 5-0 is quite possible now.
And I think it is best to keep our discussions to cricket so that we avoid any crossed wires.
oops Wiz has used that child in a shop analogy again :'(

Thanks Mir...

Winning back the Ashes is a great start but nothing less than 5-0 will make the last series go away.   ;)
