Apartment in Dnepropetrovsk???
« on: December 07, 2006, 03:06:23 PM »
Gents (and ladies of course),

Can anyone recommend an apartment service in Dnepropetrovsk?

I've found a site called www.mystay.org and it looks good but I was wondering if anyone had experience with them?

Cheers!

Kuna

I use the Cindy Agency for flat rental, both short and long term.  # 6 is my favorite.

I stayed at #5, it's a steal. Just looking at the photo brings back a flood of memories.

I have mixed opinions about Cindy as a whole but in this regard they rent this flat for less than it's listed on some real estate websites.

I used Cindy Agency twice (two different apartments).  No problem with either apartment.  And a rep was there at the agreed departure time to pickup the keys.

If I'm going to stay in Dneprop for 6 days or more I get a flat. 5 days or less it's the Hotel Dnepropetrovsk. I like the view and the walk along the river is kind of a nice and different first meeting date's.

My favorite hotel in Dnepr is the Grand. The room comes with a decent breakfast, and the location is great.  It's also on the link Dan provided.

However, I prefer the flat # 6 I mentioned above most of all.  Even if it's only for a few days.

The Grand is cool too Michelangelo. Much smaller, breakfast is better. If I were going to see one woman I might prefer to stay here over the Dipper.

Pricewise the Dnipper is at least a third less and maybe half.

The above mentioned website is part of Cindy Agency. I had a friend stay in one of the places shown there.
When I was there I staed at a nice apartment $30p/n . However Im in Odessa now and didn't bring Alla's phone number with me from Canada this time.
If you still need a place let me know, and I'll scrap it up somewhere in my files.

Actually, I have it.  Here 'tis:

Write to the attention of Anna or Andrew at:   office@cindyagency.net
or look at or book apartments online at:
www.cindyagency.com   Direct link to flats:  http://www.cindyagency.com/apartments_dnepropetrovsk_krivoy_rog.htm

address & phone #s:
Dneproprovsk
Ukraine, 49000
Karl Marks av 60 of 29
tel. 38-056- 744-41-83 (12:00 - 19:00)
cell: 38-067-563-59-06

I have rented a half dozen times from them and had excellent service every time.  Rates are now $35 to $60 per night; cheaper long-term.

Lots of us traveling that part of Ukraine, I guess. I stayed in #3 in Krivoy Rog two years ago. Also very nice, clean, cheap, convenient (no phone, gotta be using a mobile anyway). Krivoy Rog's only about an hour and a half on a minibus from Dnepropetrovsk. A bit off the beaten path, but the (two) centers are nice enough. Met some nice girls there, not too many foreigners come through. Might be worth a side trip if Dnepropetrovsk doesn't work out for you.   Cheers, Wendell in Austin

I was just checking out the apartments and it appears the mystay, and Cindy's are the same apartments for the same price....  So not a lot of choice there  :)
