About 2 months ago, someone calling themselve Katya started sending emails.  She said she is 25 years old, single, no children, living with parents in Yoshkar-Ola.

About 1 month ago, someone calling themselve Yana started sending emails.  She said she is 28 years old, single, no children, living with parents in Yoshkar-Ola.

Both writers sent photographs, some with family.  Both removed there profile as soon as I answered.  Both said they could pay a travel agency $575 and get a toursit visa to USA.  Of course, I sent no money!  Their letters were long and detailed and responded to mine. They both said they have no telephone and use internet cafe.  Both wrote in evening their time. 

Here's the kicker!  One time, I received the exact same email from both on the same day except the name at the end.  From the style of writing and different levels of English ability, I am sure there are two different people writing the emails except for the one same letter.

I think there may be a internet cafe which is really a scam office in Yoshkar-Ola where many girls are getting trained to be a scammer.

The photographs from Katya were taken at different ages.  One was taken with a digital camera this year.  The photos from Yana were all taken in Nov 2004 with a digital camera on the same day.  Both writers said I was the only man they were writing to.  Why take digital photos two years ago?  Yana has excellent English, while Katya must be using a computer translation.

maybe i`m just a bit sick in the head .. but i love playing along with them , seeing how long before they ask for money .. 3 emails is the record so far  .. best one so far didn`t want money till she had her visa ..   so i said ok .. 2 days later she " had her visa"  ....  great i said send me a copy of it ..... next email it arrived ....  whoops i said .. you got a USA visa , which is nice .. but i live in the UK ...

Very poorly done. Picture must be color...mistake number 1. It's out of focus, so it's not acceptable, mistake number 2. The 01 under entries, the zero is different than all the other zeroes on the visa.   The expiration date should be June 13, 2007 not the 14th. Just as it is with a passport. If you were issued a passport with date of issuance, 14 Dec 2006, it will expire 13 Dec 2116.
