 To tell the truth i would have liked to see the ages broken down a little bit more, 30-49 is a big group, I would like to see 10 year gaps, but I guess it's too late to change.

I have no idea what the purpose of the poll is.  The ages of whom relative to what?

I said in another thread I was curious as to how many female members we have. I thought it might be interesting to break down male and female by age. There were only 6 options for the poll question but I think they can be elaborated on.

I am very curious as to age ranges since we have many younger posters lately and some new ladies.

I just redid the poll and only have one category for female members of any age because this is mainly a board for men seeking women.

It will give me an idea of the percentage and male to female ratio of the members.

What is the point of this poll? Because I can post it and Dan has decided to keep it up. If it is totally ludicrous Dan can remove or move it. I wanted to attempt a poll and Viking thought it might be a good idea.

Ermmmmmmmm . . . if you're going to change the categories AFTER people have voted, you need to delete all the votes affected by the change.  I'm in the wrong category now, and there's no "revote" button, AFAICT.

Not that I mind being ten years younger, y'unnerstan.  Not at all!

This is of course a bit of a point-in-time kinda inspection too...within a year I'll be bumped into the 40-49 category.  Bleeech!   Oh well, 'better than the alternative.

This confirms my notion that this venture is not for very young guys. A large percentage of the guys are over 40. Anyone can meet a RW, but it helps to have some life experience and a few $$$$'s.

In being around this board since the beginning, I've noticed the folowing about the ages of RWD men;

1)  Everyone says they feel younger than they look;

2)  Guys say they are a certain age but state they look 10 years younger.  Then they post their picture, and they look EXACTLY their age!!!

     Being relatively new to this forum, I don't know if this was the subjuect of previous polls, but this one brings to my mind that it might be fun to see a poll that includes our ages and the ages of our wives, or maybe more simply, just the age difference.
     One thing that I have heard is that a younger FSU woman is more open to a large age difference than are older women.  At first this seems wrong, but while a 25 year old woman could still be attracted to a man of 45, a 45 year old woman would have a little more of a problem with a man who is 65.

Scott, it is very easy to set up a poll. Why not try one yourself? I started mine from the suggestion of Viking. I am not sure how many variations you can have. I did not think we had enough female members to add specific age ranges. The overall percentages are pretty much as I expected.

     I was hesitant to set one up if this was something that had been rehashed to death here.  If this is something new, I will give it my best shot.  It would require members to submit their ages and the ages of their wives/fiancees. (if you have both I don't want to hear about it).

Unfortunately, the clicker shows 1679 members and only 40 some members have participated in the poll. I do not think you can draw many statistical conclusions from what you have so far although the numbers as you say are pretty much what I have seen.

Heck Bruno, I don't look younger than my age but everyone else my age sure does look darn old. 

One of the guys who used to work for me ages ago used to have this saying.  It may explain a lot.
