Hey Daknack,

Great news you're heading over.  Have a good trip and GOOD LUCK!   :)

I imagine you're heading over to meet a sensational Russian girl?  Going to Sochi yeah?

Have you been writing to anyone beforehand?

Us newbies would appreciate some background on the path you took leading up to your trip.

Again,  good luck and have fun!

DaKnack I hope that you did not alarm all the women who got mad at your comments with this post to meet you at the airport.. ;D
The weather is too soft for the time of year so you should be able to take it.

Good luck DaKnack. I understand that the Moscow winter is not as bad as usual this year. But it never hurts to try and preventive measures for frostbite!

Too true. I am actually extremely puzzzed as here it is December 17 & we still have no snow & the temps havn't even hit the minus's in the daytime yet. Very strange weather. It rains a bit each day, usually in the evening & there seems to be no change in sight. Going to be very strange for me, Christmas without snow, just won't seem like Christmas.
But I should be greatful I ain't freezing my hiney off,  ;D

The Daknack has landed
« Reply #23 on: December 17, 2006, 06:53:04 AM »
Well folks I can report a little bit about Daknack’s trip so far. Right now he is taking his beauty sleep ( how bad he needs it  ;D ) after all that traveling.

A couple of hours ago I spoke to the person who met him at Adler airport outside of Sochi with the Lady he has been writing too. All went very well.

My wife and I know the Lady he has been corresponding with. We are both impressed with her. She has some similar traits as my wife. She is very intelligent, modest, sweet, and humble ( real attractive too ).

Hopefully all will go well for them.

As far as the weather in Sochi is concerned, it is about the same as the weather here in Phoenix today (my tootsies are cold today LOL) . They will have a high of about 55 F. the low this morning was about 39 F. Mostly sunny with a bit of cloud cover.

Hopefully Daknack will be so busy enjoying himself and getting to know this Lady that he will not be able to report too much until returns to the States.
But that won’t stop me from being nosey and getting the skinny through back channels. ;D

I’ll try to keep you guys posted if I can.

DonAz

On Daknack's first trip he is traveling half way around the world to Sochi, in the winter, to meet one woman that he has never met before?    ???

Wow, the pressure on a man going to so much time, distance and effort, all the hopes and dreams, riding on this one visit with this one woman. You know deep down he is hoping real hard she is the one. So hard that maybe little things will be overlooked or glossed over.

For those men who went and met one Russian woman, for those men who went and met many Russian ladies, can you remember your meeting with the first Russian woman you ever met?

Many of us have had the same similar feelings. She's beautiful, what a slim, in shape body. She's intelligent, and that sexy Russian accent. Wow! I could never find such a woman like this in America.  I better not blow this meeting. I hope she likes me..... I think she does like me, were having a wonderful time. And because I can never find a such woman like this in the states, I better take her, if I don't the next guy who meets her will take her.

These were pretty much my feelings when I met Svetlana B. Beautiful, 12 year's younger, nice, slim, trim body, smart and that oh so sexy accent. What a wonderful time I had in Moscow with Svetlana. We talked about marriage, she WOULD marry me!  When I left Moscow I was going to marry the first and only Russian woman I ever met. I was happy, excited, I had done well, in fact I thought I could do no better. I was a lucky man. It was really love.

But I had to make a little side trip to St. Petersburg to see the other lady I was writing, Veronica M. Although I was in love with Svetlana I had promised Veronica I would come and see her so off to St. Pete I went. I was just going to relax, see St. Petersburg, honor my promise to Veronica and then get back home and start the paperwork to get Svetlana to America.

So I meet Veronica. Ohh myyyyyy. She was beautiful! A little taller than Svetlana, and was she built up top, something Svetlana was not. Good English like Svetlana and 10 years younger than myself. We had a great time and after the end of a week with each other, and after Veronica knew I liked her, she brought up marriage.  Oh my god!  The two most beautiful, wonderful women in all of Russia that were perfect for me and they would both marry me. I was the luckiest man on earth.

Now which of these two was I going to marry?

If I had not of met a second Russian woman I would have married the first and only Russian woman I ever met. I feel very fortunate and lucky that I did meet a second Russian woman.

I have personally known about ten men who married the first and only Russian woman they ever met.

I have at some time or another asked each of these guys how do they know they met the best Russian woman for them? If you never met a second, or third Russian woman how do you know the one and only Russian woman you ever met, and married, was truly the best for you?  How could you compare your one Russian woman to another Russian woman if you never met a second or third Russian woman?

I think about my situation, how in love I was, well it really was not love, it was more infatuation, but no one was not going to tell me I was not in love!  I often wonder how these men who married the first and only Russian woman they ever met go through life thinking about what might had happened if they had a met a second or third Russian lady.

I have learned a lot about this process over the last 12 years, the pursuit for a good Russian wife, from dealing with and from talking, always talking, to a lot of men and Russian women.

There is one constant thing I am told by these men who married the first and only Russian women they ever met. When I talk to them about their marriage, the pursuit, how life is going, each and every man has told me the following although not in the exact words but close. They will tell me their marriage is going well. They have their usually bumps in the road but the marriage is going well. Then each of these guys will look around, make sure the wife is not close by and then will in an almost whisper of a voice will say "Don't get me wrong, I am happily married, but if I had it to do over again, I would have met more Russian ladies".

When does one know he has meet the best Russian woman for himself?  For a man making his first trip this is always a tough question to answer and almost impossible to answer. Once a man has some experience in meeting Russian ladies, and if he will take his time, be realistic with his expectations, I can say "When you meet her, you will know". Their will be no doubt, you will know it's her by the way she looks at you, smiles at you and laughs with you, holds your hand, cares for you. Conversation comes so easily, you are both being 100% yourself and each likes the other, the little things we do we enjoy tremendously. Once we have met and been involved with some Russian ladies, I can say "When you met her, you will know".  But the poor new guy, the guy who has met one woman on his trip, how is he going to really know?

As with Daknack, look at the pressure. Yea, some would say "what pressure". Their's pressure when you have ALL your eggs in one basket. Any back-up plan? Probably not, should be, maybe he has but if she is sweet and beautiful and smiles just right, he won't even consider a back-up plan until it's too late. And Russian women do not like to hurt men's feelings. They can be very good actress's. Most Russian women have good and kind hearts. Often time's after the man they were writing comes to see them the lady quickly realizes "he is a nice man, he is kind, but I don't think he is the type for me". With this man traveling half way across the world to see him do you think she is going to tell him "You are nice man but not my type".  No, she is not, or very few, I think less than 15% of Russian women would tell a man this. Instead she is going to be nice and kind and try to make sure his week in her city is a good week because she is a kind woman.  What this woman offers as friendship, kindness, the man could easily (and often time does) mistake as love.

So in my opinion those men who are new to the process, those men who are meeting there first Russian lady, are somewhat vulnerable. It is so easy for men who have all their hopes tied up in one lady to read wrong feelings from a kind hearted Russian women.
