I don't even know what a scam hunter is. And your entitled to your opinion but you don't know have any idea of what kind of person I am. The Bill she is refering to is a personal friend on mine and I would never let anyone offend her. She is mistaken in saying that.

If serious it's hard to say anything as you don't get out the whole story. Although 5000$$ is abnormal sum for asking. To the other hand we didn't know how much money you sent to her. May be she was used to get such sum

I don't recommend it myself. I am very new to searching for a FSU woman and am completely honest in my search. I do have much to learn, I know that now but I gave this some serious thought before just joining any agency and writing to women that I had never met. I read what I could about what was involved and maybe it was not enough. I understand that FSU ladies are looking for AM for many different reasons and the thought of an attractive FSU wife was appealing to me. I was not looking out of my age range and wasn't concerned so much with looks as much as who she was. I am honest and hardworking and dont stray from my commitments. I wanted the same in return.

Are you really mad, sorry? For me, I will never tell a man who I do not know enough (a few e-mails mean nothing) that I have some financial problems.

(smile) I think i read it somewhere and being the kind understanding and generous man that I am I was willing to help her out until she got to America. I have had many more than a few emails with this woman. I travel to her country and met her and spent much time together. I was only interested in what your opinion was on the subject.

Just mulling over a possible scenario.. - where the woman might not have been supported during the fiancee wait, I believe takes quite a while to get to the interview stage so something must have been brewing...

I could see someone going a bit nutty during the wait..

Might the demand for 5000 bucks be more an emotional request for the man to justify his intent as a husband?

No telling what's really happening without more background info or hearing 'her side' of the story.

I met ehr in December and left for the US in January of this year. I filed the !-129F myself and was approved in RECORD time, less than 30 days. When I gave her the news she blew up over it calling me selfish. Kind of floored me since whenever we talked on the phone and I asked her when she wanted to come she would say "NOW I want NOW". When I told her no one has ever in my life called me selfish and that the peole who know me say I'm the most generous guy they met, to a fault, she explained that it was a translation error. She now wanted to stay in her country to let her (20 yr old) daughter finish school and come to america in July. I explained that her degree was not going to be valid in the US and i was looking into the local University to see how much of her prior education could be applied to an American degree she wasn't interested. I bought her an engagement ring a jacket worth over $500.00 a gold bracelet worth over $300.00 a gold watch perfume etc ect plus a handful of cash ( $400.00- $500.00) to help her out with expenses while i went back home. Didn't last long before she needed for money that I wired to her. To her out I had a friend deliver a ATM card so she could access cash faster too. Then when it was getting close for her to go to her interview the letters got a little weird. There was a definate change to her attitude. Hmmmmmm could it be my imagination? I loved this woman. I thought I met my perfect match, my soulmate. I was very very happy. I just for the life of me cannot figure out what happened. Scam?

You mentioned letters prior to interview etc.. how have your phone conversations been lately?.. when things go to the wire commo is mostly via phone..

I have called her home for over a week countless times. She hangs up on me. The agency is giving me a line that a fool would have to belive. So, you think maybe the agency was involved in her sttempts to extort money? I had not considered the possiblility of that.

The cost to go to a heath rehab center in Ukraine is around 5000 grivens it is a 30 day rehab that includes room food, and medical service. (deleted) and I went to one in West Ukraine for 2 weeks for rest and relaxation. This is where many Ukrainians go to spend there summer relaxing. I have a gut feeling it was a request for grivens and not dollars so she could go. but I won't know for sure until we speak to (the woman in question).

If she isn't taking your calls. Then I wouldn't pursued it any further unless she contact you first.

Let me talk to (deleted) first before you reply back to her.

I have many replies from this agency. They all seem to treat me like I just came down with the last drop of rain. They have consistantly asked me for documentation and I have given it to them. They are placing a burden of proof so high on me to prove my case I'm starting to think they might be a team. I was a paying member of this agency and I'm being questioned tougher than Johhny Cochran. How high is the bar in this sort of thing?
