For some reason I thought my post was put up but I guess I hit the wrong button. I disagree with Jinx. Lucklovers is scam heaven. And they do not have viable contact info or even a scam policy. The answer to your question depends on the maturity level of yourself and the ladies you're writing to. Write to ladies of various ages, even the ones older than you, and see what happens.

I'd stay away from token sites where you have to pay to play unless they're highly recommended from trustworthy members here.

I would suggest focusing on the 25 to 30 group.  Often the ones younger than 25 are not as mature as you might like.   Otherwise I agree with Billy, try different age groups and see what seems right to you.

  I respect your opinion, but I met about 10 women from luckylovers in real life, none were scammers, all were very cool, normal women. My girlfriend Nataly and I met on this site, and we are still together. Scammers are easy to spot, I would say 80% of the women on that site are real, and looking for a partner.

I have never used Lucky Lovers but I have heard more good than bad. 

A thought just floated through my mind and I will kick it out.  Some of the differences in the quality and sincerity of the women we meet could be our own doing. 

It is very natural for any man to seek a young, beautiful woman.  If we see profiles that are a very attractive 21 year old hottie who says she wants to hear from any man from 21 to 99 and does not care about looks or income the odds are much higher that she is a scammer.  If we tend to respond to listings from women who are a little older, attractive but not drop dead gorgeous, perhaps with a child, and with practical qualities listed for the type of man she is seeking the odds are much less that she is a scammer.   What I am saying is that two people could use the same site, one finding nearly everyone a scammer and one finding almost no scammers.

Being a sucker for a woman in need is a kinda scary thought. That is what scamming is all about. Women who prey on men who respond to thier 'needs'. Please be very careful and if you are not sure, pose the situation here. You will get some good feedback.

I have possibly had the same curse.   I seem to go one of two ways.  Either someone with a lot of need (not always money) or someone who is very educated, very successful and self confident. 

Try to not be suckered in over there.  One in need will almost always end in disaster and the disasters with women from there can be far worse than the disasters with women from here although one of my disasters from here would top most anything.

Rumpy, it is not hard to get letters at all.  You can spend half your life answering letters from FSU women.  One of the things I am quite happy about is being past that stage and only needing to write one FSU woman.  Now I have lots of free time to come here and aggravate everyone.

 I just want to point out that "being a sucker for a needy woman" is also not a completely negative thing. True, you have to be careful like the guys have told you here, but that trait you have also tells me you proabably have a lot of patience and maybe that your not a selfish guy. Those things come in handy if and when you do meet that special girl and she comes over here.

 I enjoy helping my sometimes "needy" Ukrainian girlfriend, so I guess I have a little bit of that quality in me too. I think it comes from a natural 'guy' trait of trying to 'fix' things. Everyday is a challenge, but thats part of what makes it so much fun.
