Brooklyn, NY

My wife and I are walking down the street in Brooklyn and we pass a very strange house. It is the home of Steve's Playland. We managed to sneak a few pictures.

Some very unique places in Brooklyn.

Here is a sample with some horror movie stars and Miss Liberty.

Was that "the Fonz" or James Dean? I noticed that you couldn't help sticking your head up Marilyn's dress!  ::)

Ken, I wish I could answer that. It is not a good likeness of Dean or Fonzie. The only reason I suggested Fonzie is that the jacket James Dean wore in Rebel Without a Cause was dyed red because the director was experimenting with colors. It was originally slated to be a black and white film. I recently read a good book about the filming of the movie.

You are right. It looks like neither, but I would would go with the Fonz, given a choice.
Tom Hanks in Castaway: You never know what the tide may bring in.
Viking: But you still need to walk along the beach to find it.

What got me thinking James Dean is the sign, the shirt with a collar, and the bandana. Don't remember the Fonz ever wearing anything but t-shirts.

Okay now, one of you NY guys has to go find out!

As far as the question is James Dean or Fonzie?

If you look at the sign over James Dean's head it says "I drive too fast"  I think we all know that James Dean's life ended in a tangles mash of metal from driving too fast.   I think if you look at the chin too it is a little more like Dean than the Fonze.
