Beware of Alexandra Ygnatyeva aka Sasha
« on: January 11, 2007, 12:18:28 PM »
Just a warning about this woman (she is not a good scammer in the first place) I exchanged emails with her for 2 months. She claims to be a dentist in the komi republic, ukhta city, all is good untill her mother needs a sudden operation and she claims she has to get some of money back from the agency that prepaired her papers to come to work in america and asks you for the money to give back to the agency so that she can come to america to work, and of course this happens about a week before she is to leave russia to come to america to work. So I decided now to have some fun with her, I am going to claim to be a victim of id theft and tell her all my money is gone and see how she reacts to it. I'll keep updating you on what she does. She tried to play me now it's my turn!
Here's a link to her pictures.

Do not fall for her sob story.

Kas...

99.999% of the people here could see this is a scam from the word "go".  This one SOMEHOW got MY email address about a month ago and I called her/his bluff and never heard from them again.  Furthermore, "Sasha" was listed at that time on anti-scam.org, and she was pretty busy doing the scam rounds - at least a few weeks ago.

She tried a different approch with me, she went over 2 months before she suddenly started the mom and the operation bit, then I knew it was a scam (she is still on the anti-scam.org site btw, I checked). Now I'm going to see how long I can string her out before she gives up (just for fun). She told me 2 weeks ago that she needed $980 before january 16th to come to america, so I went ahead and told her I would try to help. Today I sent her an email telling her that I was a victim of id theft and that all the money I have is gone, but I was still going to try help her get the money she needed. I'll post what she says in her next email if I get one, she messed with the wrong man this time, stay tuned.

Who's time are you wasting by "stringing her along"? If, or maybe IF is better, it even is a "her". More likely some Fat Yuri posting hundreds of canned letters. Waiting a couple of months for the money shot is nothing new. Some go for the quick hit and some are very good at stringing it along working the guy for awhile so he develops an attachment to her before the money shot.

Your choice of course but I see this "getting even" with her as a big waste of time, energy, and emotion.

Right on here...!!!!  What's the point when you are probably only writing to "Scan and Reply" software anyway.  Get over the idea that it is a "Her".  99% chance it aint. Find something productive to do.
