Hi ya'll from the Big Easy
« on: January 17, 2007, 12:25:38 PM »
I came across this forum about a couple weeks back and decided this would be a good place to finally introduce myself.  I am from New Orleans... one of the lucky few whose house did not flood.

I have been dating a Russian woman since October... luckily she is in the States but still a couple hour plane ride away... so at least we get together every 2 weeks.  Again luckily she already has her CG and has been in the States for over 5 years now... but I am the first american that she has been in a serious relationship with (her ex was Russian)... so she is experiencing some culture changes again.

I am interested to know if anyone else is from my area...

I really enjoy everyones comments and you guys have been a big help to me already.  I look forward to learning more and sharing things as well.

Thanks again.

Hi Easy,

Welcome to our little part of the world. Not sure about any others in your area. I'm sure if there are they will also say "hi". I hope that you'll keep us informed on the challenges you are facing. Its always interesting to have new perspectives.
