RUSSIAN HACKERS STEAL 50 MLN EURO FROM FOREIGNERS' ACCOUNTS IN 2006 - OFFICIAL

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Up to 50 million euro have been stolen from foreign citizens' bank accounts in Russian hacker attacks since the beginning of the year, Vladimir Basov, deputy director of the Interpol Russian bureau's department for the fight against international crime, told an news conference at Interfax on Tuesday.

"I am speaking about a limited number of people we have managed to identify. The amounts of money actually coming to Russia are in fact much larger," he said.

A set of measures should be taken to counter such crimes, Basov said. For instance, he proposed revoking the banking licenses of organizations which handle such money.

Another 15 million euro has been received via crimes related to marital fraud, he said.

Basov called for a broadening of international cooperation in combating economic crime and corruption.

Being a Hacker and become rich  ::) impossible !!!

In popular usage and in the media, it most often refers to computer intruders or criminals, with associated pejorative connotations. In the computing community, the primary meaning is a complimentary description for a particularly brilliant programmer or technical expert.

These performing criminal activities are not hacker... they are called "black hat" or "cracker" ...

One of the rules of the hacker ethics is :
- the belief that system cracking for fun and exploration is ethically acceptable as long as the hacker commits no theft, vandalism, or breach of confidentiality.

About school, you have a lot :

A article over hacking school :

Among them are businessmen, a grandmother - even a policeman. Those willing to speak say they've come to learn how to protect themselves...

If a grandmother can, catzenmouse can... so, it is not too late  ;D ;D ;D
